With new method for LCS, there's no optional stuff? Also, I don't see any link for VCS. On the other hand, nice work.

no more options to build the files yourself? also with these new files lcs crashes shortly after the start of a multiplayer game and vcs is unchanged(in terms of mp support)

weird as lcs worked just fine if i built the eboot.bin last on it's own(with the old files that still had the lcsconv)

I think this related to volatile memory patch (which is bad for sp, but good for mp it seems), which is applied when you build eboot on it's own.

You've sure come a long way with this mod. Excellent work, dude! 

 

Can't seem to get my US copy working with the Vita though, it freezes at the splash screen. Any troubleshooting tips would be appreciated thanks.

try deleting the savegame maybe cuz vcs ps2 uses different scm

Thanks for the reply but I am using the save game provided.

 

Curiously though, the recompiled .iso is about 400mb less than the original one. Not sure if worth noting but interesting all the same

can someone make HD hud icons for ppsspp?

like the weapons and fonts?

also @MAJEST1C_R3 does the VCS mod support EUR region ULES-00502? as it is the only official dump of the game that i have (i am against piracy)

Funny enough, I tried this on my europe iso and the mod still works, the only issue I ran into was that the Wave103 radio station wasn't working, so what I did with UMDGen was rename WAVE_EU.at3 to WAVE_AM.at3 and it worked perfectly.

 

Weird, after installing your mod it fully converted my iso into US region header in iso properties...

Yes, this because of replaced EBOOT and PARAM.SFO I think

Nice mod, VCS working good... BUT replacing LCS ISO with files from "GTALibertyCityStoriesAssets.zip" not working for me, i have only black screen in PPSSPP emulator and these errors in debug log

I have used original USA ISO ULUS-10041 with 87E2772E CRC32 and try to replace files\folders with UltraUSO and UMDGen....

 

What version of Liberty City ISO i need for working this mod?

 

EDIT: i found LCS USA v3.00 ISO and try to replace folders from archive - now it start, but game freezee at loading - in debug log - many errors...

I cannot understand why this mod does not work with LCS, but VCS works and boots perfect - i tried EU and USA images - and its works without problems!

 

EDIT2: works! LCS (ULES-00151) Europe v3.00 ISO

I was actually, sorting out every weapon icon to work with HQ ones, but too many duplicates kept coming in, so I ended up giving up, since they kept changing.

I'm trying to do the same thing as well, I did run into this issue but what I did to counter it was try and find all the different hashcodes and allocate the same texture to all of them.

 

Got only about 8 weapons icons so far.

worked with my PAL VCS dump, though with PAL, it will convert it into a NTSC copy of the game and Wave103 won't work without a manual rename of the radio station with an iso editor

Dear author, I installed your mod for the psp version, and you know it's great, everything works. Finally, I can enjoy it. Thank you for your work.
But there is one problem. I can not play the game in English, I installed Russian, but it broke the game. Black screen after Intro Rockstar.
The files of the Russian language replace some of yours from the mod. Perhaps there is some kind of conflict, but I do not understand this.
So, could you install the Russian language additionally in your mod?
I will be able to share files of the Russian language.

I don't understand the PSP file system. For me it is difficult. For this I asked the author of the mod to set the Russian language by default. Or to make an optional build with the Russian language.
But the author of the mod is not very responsive.

I'm try to port "best" Russian translate from original PSP version, but i replace only GXT text file and Font textures in Game.dtz (spend over 5 hours for understand DTZ stucture - but for compressed fonts all ok, and not for Fonts.dat)

 

LCS playable and 95% Rus, and without editing fonts.dat , fonts are so ugly...

VCS unplayble with Rus, and without editing fonts.dat - all symbold instad Latin are not showing or ugly
