Nope. I just don't feel it's necessary to write out a wall of text to try and prove someone wrong. I know where I stand so that's that.

Since you know Tommy created his own gang but can't recruit any gangster before the danger is over, since you know Tommy has to do all the menial tasks even he owns all the companies he works for, since you know Tommy keeps struggling against the gang intrusions in his companies at the end of the game and the list goes on you know you can't make him look consistent compared to CJ. 39.gif

I don't get why you think this is only confined to Tommy. If anything CJ's inconsistency is more harrowing compared to later protagonists in the series (especially Niko), but I can't expect someone whose only played 3D era GTAs to understand.😉

To me CJ may be inconsistent, but Claude was as well (he doesn't even talk)

Okay...? How exactly does that prove that Claude is inconsistent? He's probably the most consistent if anything.

For not expressing thoughts or emotions, it's seems a doll that you controll and whose only clear goal is vengeance.

I mean, during the cutscenes he does nothing but stand and listen. Does no memorable actions but the one in the final mission.

I don't know how a character who is nothing but a cool (and not so much) outfit can be considered consistent. I am asking.

I think Claude deserves a free pass because he was the first protagonist when the games switched over to 3D. He wasn't required to express his thoughts or emotions and purely from a character standpoint he's actually extremely consistent since he's a hired gun and never contradicts his own actions. Tommy still manages this too despite being given the ability to speak. He's pretty much a ruthless badass from start to finish.

Sure it might make him seem a bit one dimensional, but his character works for the majority of the situations. It's CJ where the wheels start to fall off IMO. R* tried to make him feel more "human" yet it's add odds with the zaniness of the 3D era where this isn't a problem with Claude or Tommy.

I guess that's because it was R* first attempt of a more human protagonist in GTA, they gave him some ruthless moments, but they felt out of character.

it’s very strange how cj acts like a maniac at just some parts of the game.

I like that I can say so few words and it causes a frenzy. I'm awesome.

Only the new members fall for that though ;)

But regardless of what you say, the silent thing that pulls my OCD graphic designer strings the most is the stretched image in your signature 😛 *eye twitches*

I almost skipped that post because it's pretty usual to see stupid things written in that kind of fonts and colours. But then I saw it was just logic. And concerning the topic, no CJ is not a maniac, however he's on his way to be one. He still has feelings and some sense of moral and duty, he don't do drugs and all this things. Afterall we are talking about a GTA protagonist, I mean we shouldn't be asking those things.
