Go to the industrial plant bug??

Hi everyone,

 

I need a bit of help or an idea on how to fix a bug I have in GTAO.
Last day I went to talk with Troy. All was ok and the video secuence ended. Aferwards, Ron called for a mission in an industrial plant and a waypoint appeared in my GPS, so I went there and started the mission. However, the game was stuck loading for almost 25-30 minutes until I had to close the game. I've restarted the game and the waypoint to the industrial plant is still here, but if I go there, it is now a survival mission and the forever-loading screen appears again.

 

After several days and some other missions done, the waypoint to the survival mission is still there and nothing I can do to remove it. Ron never called me again for the mission either.

Any idea on how I can fix this?

1. Trevor won't call you again

2. You need to play it at least once to make the waypoint disappear. It does not not matter if you play only a few seconds and fail it. But you need to play it

Instead of following the waypoint, did you try having a friend host the job then invite you?

If that dont work Id try clearing cache.

2. That's what I want to do, but everytime I start the survival mission, the game just ends up loading forever :/

Thanks for the idea! I haven't tried that yet, maybe it works if one friend hosts the mission :)

Hi again,


Sorry for the delay, but finally it seems that the bug is solved with the casino update! :D

When I was stuck with the "Go to the industrial plant", I wasn't able to join any mission from a friend or Gerald/Simeon/Martin/etc, the activity list app from my phone was always empty with no available tasks. Additionally my map only showed half of the icons/activities with the bug active.

Finally with the last DLC I was able to do the survival mission without the forever-loading screen appearing and all of my map icons and activities are restored!


Thanks Gat_2011 and StangOne50 for your support and I hope this bug doesn't happen again to someone else.

Hello, I’m having the same exact issue but I have the latest DLC download. I can’t figure out how to fix this. It won’t let me join friend’s games or get invited to heists. The job list app from my phone is empty. Any ideaS out there?

Hello currently Im the same as you all are, I dont know how to fix this bug. But now Im gonna reinstall gta 5, I hope it works. Im gonna come back here if reinstalling gta 5 works

Unfortunately after I reinstall gta 5, the bug is still in there. I don't know what to do anymore. I hope rockstar fix this

I think in your case it doesn't work due to the current event week. The normal survivals have been deactivated in favour of the Alien survivals. Try again once this event is over.

Are you sure bro? coz I can't play anymore missions anymore I can only now play the story mode. I hope you are right bro

Can you explain your problem exactly? Are you saying you can't play online? Or just the missions online?

I have this same problem, what can I do, pls help I can't play with my friends and I can't do anything.

I go to the frickin industrial plant and I enter the blue circle but nothing happens.

GTA online missions bro, like gerald, lamar simeon missions. but the story mode in gta 5 I can play it somehow. My problem is the go to the industrial plant bug, if you go to the waypoint the mission don't start neither load.

I’m having the exact same problem, it started about 2 days ago, I was just driving about and then got a call from Ron the game set a way point to the industrial plant for me, I went there and the only thing that is there is a blue circle but when I stand in it nothing happens, I’ve retried this a few times now and hasn’t worked at all, if I put my money in my bank account and log off and then back in again my money is back in my wallet and not my bank, I also can’t do any other missions to get out of this and don’t know what to do, I have only started the game a week ago so I have no idea how to get past this, I keep getting calls from people but can’t do anything, I really need help with this so I can progress in the game, thanks.

Adding one more to the list.

 

I am running this on an XBox Series X.

My issue is much like the others who have posted already.

I got the call from Ron and have the message on the bottom of my screen "Go to the Industrial Plant' and presents a light blue line and GPS track to follow.  When I get to the end of the line where the location should be, I don't even see a blue circle.  I have looked while on foot and while in my vehicle with no luck.  I have rebooted, I have done VIP jobs, nothing seems to get rid of this "Industrial Plant" mission, but every time I go there, there is nothing for me to actually do. I'm just posting to add volume to the issue and hopefully track if there is a solution.

I am having the same issue. Got a call from Ron telling me to "go to the industrial plant". When I get there, there is no circle therefore I cannot complete this task. I cannot do missions or heists now either. Just grinded the money for the sub, completed all the prep missions only to find out the game won't allow me to do the heist. Can't even do some quick missions to earn some cash.Talk about disappointing.

Most of the time I get there and find that the blue circle isn’t there but if I got into the industrial plant at night and shoot one of the guards or just get into some sort of police chase then after the blue circle will appear, hopefully rockstar acknowledges the glitch as I would like to progress in the game. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure, yes. I don't think it is a coincidence that people suddenly have this problem again at the same time as the old survivals are deactivated.

New event weeks start on thursdays. However, since Halloween is next sunday, it's possible that these Alien Survivals will be active for another event week. We'll just have to wait and see what happens this thursday.

I have same problem, called me Ron, and i have mission "go to indistrial plant" and nothing here, please help, a cant play any mission :(

Im having the same problem it tames me to the industrial plant then when i get there nothing happends i get out the car and run around and nothing happends it just keeps telling me to go back to the industrial plant when im already there
