Rockstar have made no announcment about multi-player, therefore it will 100% not have it. If multi-player was being built into VC, rockstar would have announced it ages ago to build up hype like they did with all the other useless crap...(replay anyone?) It would be really stupid to keep such a thing till the day the game is released, sales would be so much higher if VC:PC was a multiplayer game. To sum up, VC Multiplayer? No chance. Jake. I believe it will take a long time before that mod gets anywhere near a decent level that it can be called multiplayer. Diablo_Hitman, relax. BUT there are alot of things and features that we have seen in screenshots and things like that and beta releases that haven't been in the final version. this can be said for many games. nothing is final until the machine starts printing copies. but yes, you and the rest of you are right in the fact that rockstar would have used it as a major selling point and for that; if read the rest of my post i said that it is highly unlikely to almost impossible that there will be multiplayer. Indeed, but Multiplayer is not the kind of thing that can simply be added or removed in a short time and it's not that long till VC:PC release iirc. I see what you mean with changes from beta but changing skins, etc is alot easier compared to messing with MP, I would imagine. Something as massive as MP in a next-gen GTA game is too big to go unoticed/leaked/hyped even if they were just trying it out IMO. Because tbh the features that come with VC:PC are hardly worth talking about over the PS2 version, MP would give rockstar a reason/something to target people who already own the PS2 version as well as the PC audience. The reason they arent telling us is because it isnt a main selling point for the game in their opinion.. yeah right eh But you will need broadband to run it for sure. Dial up users are S double 'o' L Take care and see you all in a month to rant about being right.. or very extremely upset at a company that did an exact port of the PS2 version that had been over-hyped and was not as good as GTA 3 was IMO.
