SPANK-ed addict Posted April 17, 2003 Share Posted April 17, 2003 Well, i was flying a heli round vice city just lookin for sh*t to do and i flew over a army base, i had no idea that existed. And i saw a helicopter and i noticed people from below were shooting at me. So i flew down and tried to get the chopper but they killed me and the heli before i even got off the ground... (its a Hunter, looks just like a apache helicopter that shoots rockets and has 2 machine gun turrets, cool stuff ) that went on a few times, and no luck... so i took the cop land idea and got a cop car and the cop outfit. I drove in there and no one bothered me, but every time i got in the Army hunter the game glitched!?! so that went on 5 more times and i got another idea... i did the same thing and i got a VCPD Helicopter instead of a car and i landed it near the Hunter and stole it no problem.. its such a cool helicopter, and the trouble was worth it... but it not save able unfortuantly... is there a FBI building? if theres a police department and a army base? oh and does anyone know why it would glitch? AZAZEL Posted April 18, 2003 Share Posted April 18, 2003 First of all... don't sit around at GTA Forums, telling everybody about the Hunter, and how it looks, and that it have guns and all that... It've been know for ages! You don't need to drive a Police car to get in unseen... just wear the cop outfit, and walk or drive/fly any vehicle in there. I have it saved in the big garage at the hyman condo. i have it saved with enough room for a tank and 2 pcj's, it's a tight squeez, but it saves me having to go to the army base or to the helipad in ocean beach. you cannot directly fly it in, you have to land outside the door and then push it in either by car or get tommy to push it in. then save and simply push it back out and into the clear, jump in and your away. Sounds like an awful lot of trouble. I just jump in a car and take a four minute drive to either Ocean Beach or Fort Baxter. It's not like you can't wreck havoc on the way. Anyway your nice little story turned old news into a...nice little story, good job! btw, The hunter only has one chaingun not two, you must be thinking of the hellfire missle sidepods, the hunter is an almost perfect recreation of the apache. I tried to put it in the vercetti mansion one, but it didnt fit ;( It's much easier then pushing a normal heli because the tail is wider and it slides nicely. But as to the sea sparrow VS Hunter, Hunter is so much more manoevurable than the seasparrow and if you have good enough flight madskills you can have some sweetass aerial stunts and combat and it looks so genius sliding between two close skyscrapers at 90' or whizzing down the narrow streets...
