El Penguin Bobo
Anyone? Just curious since a lot of people seem to play Online and never touch the story after the prologue.
TheSantader25
Yes. Every year just like most of the previous titles. Cjrememberthat, El Penguin Bobo, santosvagos and 4 others

billiejoearmstrong8
Before I started playing IV I did for ages. Replayed missions from the menu and replayed through the game a lot. If I hadn't picked up IV I still would be, f*ck online. 1 minute ago, El Penguin Bobo said: Yeah, but with GTA V, it seems like no one cares about the story and they buy/play the game just for the Online. I'd hazard a guess that most people who are big enough fans of GTA to join a forum for it are unlikely to only be into playing online and not story mode. There's a lot of people who aren't such big fans of GTA who only care about/bought the game for Online but this just isn't where to find them. TheSantader25
The game's story is actually very popular among mainstream people as well. It was popular back in 2013-15 but of course mainstream people won't play a 6 year old game. To my knowledge only San Andreas is played regularly by normal non hardcore people to this date. abkfan1000 and El Penguin Bobo

San Andreas is still pretty popular til this day, and it didn't get overshadowed by multiplayer, and it didn't have it... abkfan1000

That is still pretty popular as well. Some people here think the game is overrated and it's understandable but I don't think there's any denying that SA seems to be the ultimate immortal GTA. R* still haven't replaced it. Edited June 10, 2019 by TheSantader25 Lioshenka and El Penguin Bobo

Ondr4H
Probably I never touch whole story again, but sometimes I replay some missions just for fun. But I play singleplayer on daily basis, I hate Online... El Penguin Bobo
Duhillestpunk
Nah not really. I tried replaying it and felt instantly bored after playing “Franklin and Lamar”. Is 5 a bad game? No. But the story? To me yes. It’s too Hollywood and I hate that. NightmanCometh96 and Rotorhead359
Yinepi
Yes. I just finished another play through. Saved before the ending options so I could play them all and have different saves. It's been fun, but it seems like the SP just keeps getting buggier. Had the game crash once on the meltdown mission and the mission with the nerve toxin kept saying 'mission interrupted' for 3 in game days. Also the property missions keep spamming me like crazy and getting stuck in a loop. And I had this weird glitch where blinding white bloom clouds seemed to appear on the road at random intervals, which took installing VisualV to fix. Would just like to point out that San Andreas was the ONLY GTA game that had a two-player mode (albeit one with horrible camera controls) where two people could play on the same TV. ahh, the memories. I’d much rather another co-op/two players on the same TV mode than something like GTAO but I guess I’m behind the times Lioshenka and El Penguin Bobo

Camera was always buggy indeed but that never stopped the fun once for us even back in the summers of 2004-06. About V I did start a new game quite long ago and if I'm correct I left on that mission where everybody has to dress as firefighters and go into some building. Can't remember the name. But honestly I haven't gone back to in some time. And I left GtaO way back in 2014 cause it was already ass during the time and got worse and worse each year, lol. Rotorhead359
I played the campaign once up to The Last One (technically not 100%), and replayed the story with alternative approaches for the heists (full replay so I got to do the preps too) I mainly play Online these days, but occasionally visit story mode to replay a mission. Still, most people I tend to meet in game online say they haven't finished the story. They either find it too over the top or boring. LittleJesus
Lol I met this kid on GTA Online a couple of months ago and he said that he doesn't play story mode because he can't see the point of it, that the story is gonna end and everything he's done will be for nothing.... gunziness
I play daily or almost daily, at least for 15-20 minutes. I either play GTAV or EFLC (replaying TBoGT right now). I refinished story mode months and months ago, but i keep playing for the roleplay or just hanging/driving around. If it wasnt for mods i would have stopped playing the game the moment i finished the storyline. Stock GTAV is awful (mostly because of the driving) but with mods its a complete different story. I still believe it had/has a lot of potential to exploit though, but it still entertains me to this day Its nice to sit on the PC and play aimlessly after a long day, it relaxes me, and GTA games excels at that. god speed
Not atm, the story feels too worn out, but I hope the Casino update will add something worthwhile I could access in singleplayer via mods. Won't play Online. El Penguin Bobo

wtfsnowman
I am actually enjoying it quite a bit so far, both gameplay- and story-wise. I've died in so many hilarious ways. Don't touch multiplayer at all, or until I finish the story? El Penguin Bobo

If you're bored, I guess, but be warned, there's a flying bike in every lobby, and a Deluxo too. If you encounter a flying bike, run away, they'll blow you up on sight. It's nothing like GTA either so it's going to be very weird to play.
wtfsnowman
Yes, I did hear that griefing was rampant... guess I'll find out once I get 100% in story mode. Is online with 2 other friends viable? Or are we gonna get murdered by others nonstop? My friends don't want to play if that's the case.
El Penguin Bobo
You can play on a private lobby with your friends I believe.

Biira99
I do sometimes. Mostly to mess around without consequences. I have a friend though, who never touched SP outside of the prologue, and he had the game longer than I do El Penguin Bobo
