mrwolf425
Today I saw the new Microsoft Flight Simulator, and those scenes when the plane arrives to the airport and seeing the dark sky just after the sun set with a little orange color at the horizon, and the vast city lights surrounding the airport. This really gave me a glimpse of what can be a scenery in the next GTA, and I start dreaming of the next GTA and the American Life Style Nostalgia. BTW in GTA V you can t really distinguish the dark when the night fall, I think RockStar should make more authentic (like real life) the night sceneries, (darkness, street lights, car headlights and back lights, houses, shops, skyscrapers...), for example if you switch the light in the dark you should feel the effect of that light in that dark scene, make them like real life, with clear contrast between dark and light. I already saw some enhancing in RDR 2, but Next GTA must go to the next level. And please make an authentic beautiful and starry night SKY. Long Life You Live ''RockStar''. MojoGamer
I know right, I almost cried believing it really was Gta 6. Since the Gta's intros involves getting off a plane or some type of transport. mrwolf425
mrwolf425
Exactly, I was thinking a mission in Miami, and first time arriving to the city through the airport, and the beginning of the adventure. BTW I miss NYC in GTA 4. I remember those night scenes under the Bridge, looking to the Skyscrapers, with the light coming from windows far away and reflecting on the beach water. I wish i could see those scenes again enhanced like real life in the NEXT GTA. I lOVE NY. MojoGamer
DOUGL4S1
Just in case there are people living in a cave here, the scene he's talking about starts at 0:59. And yeah, I have to admit I also tought a bit about GTA in those scenes. And I agree the night time in GTA needs some love, the dark areas feel a bit too bright, and messing with brightness settings messes up day time. I know there are graphics mods that 'fix' that tho. mrwolf425
Jabalous
V already has an impressive lighting system in the distance comparable to that video. Of course it will keep improving. MrQuiche
Of course it's not GTA, come on it's obvious even the music doesn't fit a GTA style trailer and all the planes view it's kinda obvious that it was a plane simulator (really good graphics btw) mrwolf425

Good point mate, i was messing with the brightness in gta 4 and 5, to make the night time really like dark, and i finished under daylight problem, because it was very grey-ish looking scene even in a clear beautiful day. But I think RockStar will eventuly fix this problem. 2 hours ago, EVOLUT7ON said: This is what we should expect from R* in GTA6. Impressive and super realistic. Beautiful scene, but comon! it can't beat the actual Microsoft Flight Simulator, please watch the scenes from 00:55 to 01:01 EVOLUT7ON

I would like to make a remark to myself: The minimum what we should expect is that was made by Ubisoft, and of course, let's hope R* could beat the Microsoft ^^ mrwolf425 1 Ground Zero Recruitment! LeslieFromTheShoIntimacy
I think the real problem here is that you’re trying to get NYC ambience in Los Angeles. As mentioned already, V had a pretty impressive lighting system. It may feel subpar compared to Liberty City nights because it’s a different type of vibe. Look at the above posted screenshot. The city of Los Santos looks stunning, visually, with all the lights lit..however there’s like two tall buildings, it doesn’t feel very much “alive”. I mean V looks really great at dusk/sunset. Maybe not so as much at night, but remember that big cities don’t get that “dark” at night because there’s so much light around. You’re not getting Flight Simulator graphics/weather/lights in GTA.. MFS is a simulation game, I mean they train pilots with it. GTA has so much more going on in its’ game world and is far from simulation. Sure, but from what I saw in RDR 2, RockStar is more than capable of implementing those kind of sceneries in their new updated graphic engine (The Almighty Masterpiece R.A.G.E). And RDR 2 was buid from the ground to fit the current gen hardware (console of course). Imagine what can RockStar achieve with the next gen of consoles. And I believe to make the experience more authentic and original, they need to implement those graphics into their next GTA, because Grand Theft Auto is about ''THE EXPERIENCE'' and ''VIBES''. You can see some aspect of this in ''Heat'' the movie, here Zello
