Yesterday while attempting a Random encounter rescue mission in St.Denis I was getting killed by a player who wasn’t on the map even though we were close to each other and when I finally saw who was killing me I realized no player icon appeared above their head. No Homing Posted June 7, 2019 Share Posted June 7, 2019 (edited) I had the same thing, I encountered a rescue mission at Pleasance and 2 players in a posse rode up there too, suddenly they disappeared off the map and I think there might have been a 3rd player too, someone got killed by explosive ammo. I killed all the enemies and they started looting my bodies, so I threw dynamite at my feet and killed myself with one of them. The odd thing was this didn't force me out of defensive mode. I got 2 more kills and someone killed the stranger I was supposed to rescue (I already gave up anyway). And I was still in defensive mode. Seems like the rescue mission causes major issues, but even after it ended they were still off radar. I ewo'd twice while taking major damage and just left, screw it. My mission, my bodies! And killing them didn't force me out of defensive mode. But this isn't as bad as players in godmode. Both glitches are accidental I think, I don't think these players did this on purpose. The player was trying to blend in with NPC’s and when I turned around they shot me. Until I figured it out. I finally saw the creeping up on me and shot them in the face. I accidentally came across a solo public lobby glitch. Totally not trying it was my own f*ck up and what I did after that caused it. I don't see it published anywhere. I have video of it and have tested it, but I didn't run to youtube or the other site to publish it. If you're not familiar with the other sinning site, alot of the peopl who find glitches find multiple of them and they hold them until one is patched and then publish/release the next one. I have a feeling you will eventualy see a video on it, it's bound to get out. To say it doesn't exist is crazy, multiple people are see/reporting it. I even have a video of it. I knw the next response is going to be "PROVE IT OR IT DIDN"T HAPPEN" but I'm not worried about proving it, I'm not showing the video, all I will say is it involved the train. Watch me get killed right away and look at my mini-map. The current godmode in 30 seconds glitch on GTA was private for atleast 3 months, so I heard. And I encountered someone using it a few weeks ago. It went public today, because predictably, someone couldn't keep their mouth shut. It doesn't have much traction yet, but it has now reached YouTube. Because I guarantee any glitch like this, knowing the sad reality and behavior of the average player, will tend to abuse it to it's fullest until something's done about it. I cant answer for PS4 since i play on XBox Normally the players gamercards shows something like "moseying around in Valentine" but many times most players are simply "offline". If i see that i be more aware of my surroundings… Also if the player name is something with random letters/numbers, i know its a player with hostile purposes... Mooching around in a lobby today and got shot from nowhere, no player circle on mini-map. Saw him coming the second time but still no circle and killed him, but then kept getting rinsed by 6-7 people in a posse called 'The Crypt'. None of these players showed up as a dot on either the mini-map or main map but names were red in player list. Couldn't retaliate as had no idea where they were so let them keep killing me while I reported all their sorry asses. Tried to get it on stream but as soon as I started broadcasting they disappeared from the lobby. Hope the ban hammer comes down when (if) RS watch the game footage. Got no time for cheats or online bullies. This happened to me today. A group of three posse members. Didn't see them on the map and couldn't lock on. All players had "offline" on their profile so I couldn't follow them after they left. They were very toxic. Only way I could do anything is with paint it black in deadeye. The thread was started 17 months ago, I'm sure it's been reported many, many times since...and yet it's still an active glitch. Just like the Titan glitch in GTAO (which is what, 3 1/2 years old now?), if it doesn't impact R*s money intake, they don't give the slightest sh*t about it.
