God Mode CEO office ruining PS4 sesh

Looks like there is a new god mode glitch going around peeps. 

 

Griefers appear to be be in their CEO office but can run around free roam and still look like they in their office and CANNOT be killed. 

 

I guees it it was inevitable given R* focussing on RDRO. 

 

Always heard stories about about how bad the PS3 got as I left that version fairly early to upgrade but damn these f**kers are EVERYWHERE.

Gonna get my $250k for selling cargo then wait for the update till then I’m back to playing RDR2.

 

Im guessing everyone knows at this point anyway but just a PSA for all those that don’t.

I had this same issue yesterday. To clarify for people who don't understand why they can't be killed because they're invisible.

this is not new its being going for a while now, last week came across a few people doing this specially, at the arcadius office.

 

just switch session, nothing else can be done.

I have video evidence of someone doing this on XB1 but I'm not sure if R* or Xbox has an email or something it can be sent to. I figured video evidence would boost getting someone banned and getting their attention to the glitch. Any suggestions?

They're keen to catch out money glitchers, I'd hope their attitude would be the same when it's a glitch for griefing. 

I sent an email once, they said they only listen to in game reports.

Really? That's ridiculous, we're taking the time to hand them proof of cheating so they can make their game better and they're not bothered. Just had someone doing the nightclub vehicle glitch for godmode as well, I hope they get it patched soon.

Hate to say it, but honestly it don't look like those glitches are getting patched any time soon. Maybe on the next title update but considering one of those god mode glitches has been active nearly a month, it's obvious that they're not a priority problem. Unless they lead to a frozen money glitch then they'll be active probably for a while.

I came across one of these assholes this weekend on PS4...If atleast my Atomizer could send him flying, I could annoy him to death, but not even that worked(I tried, nothing happens when It hits them).

 

And technically speaking this can be a money glitch...You can use to grind CEO and MC Jobs, Just gotta be invited First.

Just to clarify - they aren't invisible, but off the radar (kind of; they show on the radar that they're in their office). 

 

It's gotten pretty annoying the past week or so as more people find out about it.

Well, can you explain how they're out roaming the map, while invisible? Because I got shot down near the beach and after I got killed the kill cam started following an invisible player around.

The player camera isn't going to show the player, because it believes they're in their office. 

 

If you go find one of these god mode glitchers in the lobby in-person, you'll be able to see their character.

The God mode I've been coming across recently shows them normally on the map. They're going around killing everyone, and their health never goes down.

 

It's sad how Rockstar thinks this is okay and not game-breaking.

I'm hardwired I guess I'll have to go wireless to go on solo lobby. Thanks rockstar. If this was a money glitch they'd fix it by now. Like I said before all they care about is their shark cards sales.

Having read this, I'm suddenly reminded again why I refuse to play in populated public sessions. Still, it's disappointing and I'm not sure what's worse - people who use such things or R* for being oblivious and refusing to do anything about it. Depressing.

You shouldn't have to go wireless; I'm able to get into solo, low MTU lobbies whilst being directly connected to the modem. Just lower your MTU a bit more than normal; like within the 610-660 range. It may sometimes take a little extra time to actually load into the lobby, but it works for me whether I'm wired or wireless.

Well, this player was indeed invisible, periodt. On the map they were in their CEO office but once I got killed the kill cam started tracking the invisible player nearby who was nearby moving.

Ran into one of these guys on PS4 a week or so ago. MC stand your ground. Got up on a roof and hit him 3 of 7 times with a heavy sniper. Limb shots but it should have killed him.

 

Got to the ground and took out multiple members of his mc, managed to sneak up in him and unloaded with the heavy mg. Nothing. He stands there turns to me, pulls out a sticky bomb and tosses it at me. Killed.

 

The f*ck?

 

Using BS like that in an open lobby is for p*ssies, cowards and people with egos so fragile they're too afraid to risk losing precious KD.

Stuff like that can be easily observed in public sessions on PC. I've said that numerous times, but the issue is not the platform per se, it's the mentality beyond the sessions and how are they organized plus popularity of the game.

You obviously didn't read my last post.

 

These players are not invisible. If I did this glitch and ran up to you - with you NOT watching the player camera, but in the actual lobby, where you play normally - you would see my character just fine. You would be able to lock on to me, shoot at me (without damaging me, of course), and follow me around with no issue. Watch any of the numerous videos on YouTube about it, or even read a couple of posts here and you'll see that I'm right.

 

The player camera not showing the player is an issue with the game - it's trying to show the player, but it also thinks that they are in their office. Do you get what I'm trying to say? It's a weird situation, but not that hard to understand. 

 

Either way, it doesn't matter and there's no reason to keep discussing it. The glitch is annoying as hell no matter how you put it.

i mean unless your awful at the game and own no weaponised vehicles, not really. just adding more effort to doing those jobs.

 

glitchers just replay act 2 (and so will i if the next update is stupidly priced)

(seriously why is the act 2 glitch still a thing? rockstar are so incompetent )

 

using this glitch to troll griefers would be fun though. just start a ie source as bait and then the fun begins.
