I get booted from Rockstar's game services when there are too many players online. When the free access without psn plus was active, I couldn't stay online for half a minute. Foxwolfe Posted June 5, 2019 Share Posted June 5, 2019 I saw someone say something about voice chat being a possible culprit so I turned mine off through the free roam menu (usually play with party chat on anyway) to try it out and I haven't gotten a disconnect since. Full disclosure I never got disconnects all that much to begin with so I don't consider this conclusive yet at all as I only made the change a week or so ago, but I am curious to see how long I go without one at this rate. That was me, and while it did work during the weekend, it resurfaced Monday and Tuesday(Before the update)... Yesterday evening and all day today(So far) have been clean with no disconnects on my end. So turning off the Voice Chat didn't work sadly(For me) in this game. But after the update yesterday it got more stable. However, it seems to be random chance whether or not the servers are stable. However, I never use the voice chat, so I just left it off.
