Mission markers

The map shows markers for the Martin, lamar and simeon missions (and the heist one). Are there suppose to be more? Like one for gerald?

Some of those are "quick entry" for the new missions introduced that involve those characters.

 

In this case: Simeon's Premium Deluxe Repo Work, Dispatch, and Lamar's Lowrider missions.

 

Not sure why these weren't present originally for all characters and their related contact missions, back when they were a player's main source of income...but i'm sure more of these blips will appear for new missions down the line.

The ones mentioned are newer to the game. The original ones like gerald and also others for simeon etc are blue circles, individually located around the map. You may have them tuned off via the interaction menu. I'm not sure if all the old ones have markers and some are time sensitive during the in-game day. But they are all listed in the pause menu under jobs, missions. Well, except for a very few which have to be accessed at certain times, as mentioned. In fact I think there are a very small number that can only be accessed via a playlist, someone may have a link to one, from way back.

I like the 'group' missions, like martin (dispatch) and simeon (repo) instead of picking just one. I was hoping there were more of the 'group' missions.

That reminds me, any way to remove those mission markers from Martin and Simeon from the mini-map. It's already cluttered as it is without those 2 fools.

Sorry I see what you mean now. No there are no others that are grouped in that way. Except for a playlist, which isn't quite the same thing.

Nope, if you go through the options, there is something to scroll through twice, as if there is a blank option in the list. I tried toggling it, but no dice. I think when the last update dropped they did allow you to remove Martin's, but it broke at some point. They drive me nuts. I wish I could remove apartments too, sometimes I think about moving them all to the same location, but it seems wrong to sell my Weazil plaza after all this time. The arena wars are stuck on too, fml.

I barely see any "group' missions popping up on the ifruit. I had one pop up that required up to 6 ppl, and there were choices for a few more like it (like 'titan of a job') that needed up to 6 ppl. Never appeared again.

Old blue in-game time-related mission markers are still around if you know when and where to look for them. Like Coasting just south from NOOSE gate at the start of the gravel path leading north-east down to the shore, around 8pm to 6am.
