Hello.

Just wondering how to make some money in GTA V, seeing that it's really scarce. I would want to try the stock market glitch, but it seems like it's too much work. Tips?

The question is how much you need? If you wanna buy the expensive businesses you have to use the stock market.

Otherwise:

-Gruppe 6 vans: each give around 5000$

map_54.jpg

-Collecting Nuclear Waste(you can get upto 300000$ but it's boring)

-Underwater hidden packages:each give 25k.

-Trevor's airfield missions.

-The Epsilon program side mission:if you betray them you get around 2 million.

-Maude Bail bonds missions

-Heists

-Some special Random events.

-The Altruist finale mission where you can collect 100000$ worth of briefcase.

-Robbing stores:doesn't give much though.

-Taxi missions and Tow Truck missions.

-Buying properties for weekly income.

-Races.

Its actaully possible to make tons of money with the stock market even without glitching/exploiting...But in orfer to do that you obviously need to have tons of money aswell, like say 500,000.

Here''s how you do:

-Select any Stock that is interesting to you, obviously you will to buy stocks that are NOT going down in value(red arrow pointing down) or you will just lose more money before making money again;

-Select the stock and look at the latest values and the graph, on this screen:

-In-game day was Wednesday for whoever was the unfortunate soul who took this picture, share value has hit rock-bottom and LOOKING AT CURVE IN THE GRAPH you can see that it tends to go up in value, not further down, this is where you MUST BUY these...Make no qualms about it: DUMP all your money on it!

-From here onwards, provided that you don't play any story missions as these have proven to affect share values through the market, the value of this stock can only naturally go up in value;

-Switch to Trevor and go to any safehouse to sleep(no need to save the game, in fact I advise you against it for now in-case something bad happens), his sleep time is of 12 hours, so you sleep ONCE then switch back to whatever character has bought the stocks and look at the graph again;

-Your stock is probably going up in value now, when they're at their peak or where you're confortable enough to sell, make no qualms about it: SELL EVERYTHING!

There you go, you made lots of money with it the stocks...Provided that you already had money to invest on them...If you have less than 500,000 then you will be struggling to make bank for some time.

Some missions in the game makes stock values plummet HARD and NEVER RECOUP THEIR ORIGINAL VALUES, like Merryweather for example: after beating the game by taking ending C (which I won't spoil), MW stocks will go from 104 on average until hitting the rock-bottom of 35 at worse, averaging 47 and having it's peak at 51...that's why you should be careful about investing their money while doing story missions.

Have fun finishing the story, pick ending C and then read up on the stock market thing. It's easy.

My stock graph only shows the last several hours, not the past week. Am I'm missing something? Just started up on story mode recently.

You can abuse Taxi guests and drive them around the whole map, they pay about 1000€ and over even if they wanted just a ride for a few hundred meters, makes only sense at the beginning of the game though.

I've created a mod recently, that fix the broken spawn mechanism of underwater packages/suitcases, so you don't have to save and reload every time to force them to spawn.

The mod also tracks respawn times of each suitcase individually, which makes collecting these hidden packages more fun.

If you are interested in using my mod, serach for "Fixed underwater spawns" on gta5-mods or nexusmods.
