How would you rate GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony now?

How can drug wars be interesting if this is just mindless shootout, no plot at all? 3-4 scenarios repeating all the time. 

 

And there were 3 or more random characters.

The missions are a bit over the top and dumb but a lot of them are fun to play. It's cool to do some new and different things that weren't in IV or TLAD. And there are random encounter missions (two for Arnaud, two for Margot and one for Daisie Cash-Cooze)

I like them (and gang wars in TLAD) a lot because for simple infinitely repeating missions they are very well done. Probably the best infinite type missions in GTA. There's only a few scenarios but they happen in a wide variety of different locations and because the AI is good they're pretty variable. Plus the enemies are very heavily armed and hard to kill (more so than you'll find in regular missions) so it's good challenge. If you like a good shootout they're really fun. 

 

But yeah they're not the only interesting thing in the game.

Bruh I haven't played tbogt in ages and I do know that there are random encounters.

Maybe, but there's nothing interesting to spend that money on.

To be honest, TBOGT's style is my favorite of all GTA. I enjoy the more glitz and glamour settings, and the depiction of luxurious life in crime world. There is more variative and fun missions that are not as ridiculous as GTA V.

 

For the story, though, I kinda wish it's more serious and mature. Less kiddie characters and better character development for Luis.
