Last week, we added the first of many new Free Roam Missions, with new mission types and some new characters to meet along the way. This week, two fan favorites from the Red Dead Redemption 2 story join the cast of characters in the market for a helping hand in the world of Red Dead Online.

 

 

Ride out to the Adler Ranch in Ambarino or search out the infamous gunslinger Black Belle in Lemoyne for new Free Roam Missions to play in Red Dead Online for both PS4 and Xbox One.

 

 

 

This week's updates also include new Early Access content for players on PlayStation 4 including the devastating Ancient Tomahawk along with a new Make It Count: Ancient Tomahawk Showdown Mode. There's also Last Stand, a bloody free-for-all Showdown Mode with no way out, no second chances and one winner. The Clothing section of the Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Catalogue has new options on offer, including the Wescott Skirt, Valdez Vest, Citadel Boots, and limited stock of the Plaid Cap.

 

 

In addition to 25% RDO$ and Gold increased payouts for all A Land of Opportunities Missions, Free Roam Missions, Showdown Modes, Races and Free Roam Events – playing in a Posse this week at any point will earn you 5 bonus Gold Bars. There are a number of benefits to playing in a Posse beyond this week’s 5 bonus Gold Bars, including bonus RDO$ and XP when playing together, and the ability to bring an entire Posse into Free Roam Events, Competitive Challenges, or Showdown Series.

 

 

We continue to work behind the scenes to address overall game stability and performance with recent fixes including closing some duplication exploits, resolving issues related to reduced numbers of animals in sessions, updating Defensive mode to revert Playing Style to Offensive and apply a Hostility penalty when stealing cargo from another player’s horse and more.

Introducing constant crashes on Xbox for seemingly anyone in Europe, and more being f*cked in the arse by having content cut out for months on end while PS4 has it.

 

No I'm sorry. This stuff looks good. That's why I'm annoyed honestly - I want to be playing it right now. I don't even mind the exclusive stuff, but can they just fix this thing where it keeps crashing?

 

I like Sadie, want to do her new missions. And my daily objectives, maybe a little poker, other stuff.

 

I do like that they seem to be fixing some stuff and making tweaks, without needing an actual update. That's good in my opinion. Talking about the stealing off horses.

 

Just do the same for the crashes please.

Not really massive on free roam missions my self and none of the new cosmetics do anything for me so a pretty quiet week for me, but free stuff is free stuff. Nice to see them move away from every piece of new clothing being limited time offers as well.

A friend of mine (the only brazilian one who sometimes plays RDR with me) is having those network error codes SINCE release. I mean constantly, since day one.

Even after that last DLC which removed the Beta label nothing changed or improved for him.

I know your issues are kinda different right? Crashes instead of error codes... But that makes me think that maybe they're related issues, and maybe it could mean that they are working on it?

 

Considering that these new crashes aren't related to that recent dupe glitch I mean... lol.

I could be wrong but I read it as being connected with stealing cargo from other player's horses. As in, if you steal cargo from the horses whilst in Defensive mode, it puts you into Offensive mode.

Looks like a decent week; especially with the new missions and increased payouts. I'm on PS4, but don't particularly think it's fair that some get content before others.

I guess they save them until later, hoping to see them in a heist.

 

Im on ps myself, but i agree it isnt fair, and Rdo is not the only one Sony do this with online , Xbox owners must wait longer to get updates in black Ops 4, even they have paid for a battlepass...

Well that's disappointing.

Edit: So Black Belle's shack is locked and when i give up trying to get in, I turn around only to find that my horse has disappeared (although her icon still appears on the map).

Basically who play on Xbox doesn't have any new "things to do", except buying few new clothes and "new™ " Free Roam missions.
A lot of Free stuff since the Online has been released (Horses, guns, clothes etc), new activies and more on PS..
