You can also Report your own post (The Report Post option is in the top right and highlights when you scroll over the post in question.) to help us spot the need to do edits like that. After you've made 20 posts on the forum, you will no longer be classed as a new member and you'll gain the option to edit your own posts and send PM's. New Members is just a group that has limited options as there are lots of old and banned members who would love to create new accounts to carry on old arguments, so we have the settings as they are to ensure that isn't allowed to happen and we get the chance to spot them.
