Hunting north of Saint Denis was just like it was when the game came out. I couldn't cope with the amount of birds flying around. Let's hope it stays that way. Hopefully they've fixed the stranger missions and infinite loading screens as well, but I really felt bad for those of you who were going through this! He kept walking away from me, though. Chased him down for miles, ending up in a dead end. I thought I finally got him, aimed my rifle and scoped his head. Then he jumped aside while looking at me. Then, a sudden growl and a furry flash in my scope's sight..... Mauled by a Cougar; dead..... That f*cking elk and cougar must be working together!! I swear, they suckered me into that spot and WHAM!! Cougar had a meal...... I'm sure they're laughing their asses off, while looking at my corpse... Danish Crusader Posted May 21, 2019 Share Posted May 21, 2019 I was out hunting yesterday, just trying to get some money before I hit level 38 and can finally get my Springfield rifle. I find a 3 Star Whitetail Buck just outside Valentine(BINGOOOOO!), I get off my horse, hide in some trees, take aim... And then this f*cking squirrel attacks me. My character goes into this animation where she kicks it off, but the Buck notices the fight between me and this lousy critter, and runs off. I didn't know those damn things could attack you.
