Yea it is because some stupid glitchers are messing up the game with this glitch

There's another animal carcass dupe glitch? God are people lazy or what it's easy to make money in this game. Quit with the glitches they're ruining the game for others by crippling wildlife spawns. R* gives me a good hunting experience finally and now glitchers are taking it away. Can't have nice things.

I don’t even know if it is a dupe glitch tbh. All I see is piled up horses in every Lobby at Valentines Post Office.

Yes there is, more than one. However it doesn't screw up the server.  And for the record, animal spawns were never buffed with this update, nor were they nerfed when daily challenges were introduced.

No but could've been a recent stealth buff. They definitely jacked up the volume lately cuz the wildlife has been nicer than ever. I haven't seen signs of major glitching though, dunno what it does to the spawns but I'm glad my sessions haven't been adversely affected.

What is going on? I've not seen any of this first-hand; perhaps I've been lucky, but I was just in a session that was full of wildlife - I've not come across one that was completely empty since like February or so. Also, I've yet to see the dead horse piles or really anything out of the ordinary aside from the connection errors, persistent posse issues, and broken stranger missions within a session last night.

 

By the way, I'm certainty not doubting anyone; I'm just perplexed as to what's going on and why it's happening to lots but not all (including myself). I'm also on PS4, by the way.

It does screw up the servers.

That is how Red Dead Onlines Networking works.

Too many "Items" that are in need to be synchronised cause spawn rates for new entities to drop.

 

Only when this glitch is active, spawn rates are low, store fronts lagging and Stranger Missions bugged.

I was in and around Valentine quite a bit earlier and I had a look again after reading your post. It was normal, but I was the only player around. When I was there earlier during my sessions, everything was normal as well, aside for stranger missions not working for a couple of hours everywhere.

 

It's just so odd! Nothing would surprise me as to why it's happening, but again, I still can't figure out why I haven't seen it myself. I saw a pile of dead horses there on Saturday. All kind of moving around like there was something alive underneath them. They also looked as though they were rotten or had been burnt. No idea what the glitch is but I've got no interest in doing it. That kind of easy money thing ruins the game because you have nothing to play for.

That is weird, I encountered it in absolutely every session I was in yesterday.

I believe the Horse carcasses can also appear in other cities as Valentine too though.

I just tried to report it to rockstar. Got into a chat with someone there and they were telling me to change my playstation settings. I tried to tell them it wasn't a problem with my playstation because everyone I've been playing with have had the same things happen. But they asked me to change them anyway. I just told them they were wasting my time and closed the chat. They have no clue.

Whatever you say. By "your" claim, every server that has people duping/glitching will be screwed up. Sorry, not the case. I posted two videos in the B&M thread, and here's two more from Valentine. Everything was normal with glitchers doing their thing.

They tell you to do that every time. Ive lost count how many times they asked me to open ports clear cache, I even tell them in first instance not to advise as its all done and cache cleared weekly.

 

There support really have less of a clue than R* do about there game

That's not how it works, while some lobbies with this glitch, may appear "fine",

the probability of this glitch causing the Network Play in the game to not work properly increases significantly.

Meaning the more Players are in your lobby that you have to synchronize with, the higher the "Lag" in the lobby and the lower the spawn rates.

 

It is also a bit luck based and depends on how many other NPCs are loaded in.

For example in Valentine, you could see the city wasn't filled with NPCs(only Shopkeepers) these carcasses are a reason why.

I can hear small birds chirping and crows, sometimes ducks, but I don't see any. I can even hear them flee when I fire a round, but I see none on screen....

Your experience doesn't negate his, and a TON of other players are having the same experience. And he isn't "behind". lol.

 

Pretty much everyone (on Reddit especially) seems to agree with him. YOU are clearly the one without an effing clue, trying to be condescending jerk about it.

It seems the servers are acting normal again and animals/AI returned to the game world.

I posted about this in the B&M thread earlier, but it doesn't/didn't seem to be happening to most of us in Canada, Australia, most of the US, etc. Rather it seems to be happening to players specifically in the UK and continental Europe. Why Europe, I don't know; some are/were able to get into lobbies without issues, but it seems that the problems arise when they load up lobbies from the start menu as opposed to joining someone else's session who is not in a corrupted lobby.

Sure it does, and others have said they've had no issues. His logic is a all or nothing situation, which isn't the case. I disproved his claim by posting 4 videos where everything was fine, with glitchers in the lobby.

 

Not happy with that, he tries to add in how many ppl were on the server, which was always full. And the dead NPC's were from someone who just shot the town up.

 

I'm not saying something is not happening, clearly it is, but it's not because of this dupe glitch. So I guess I've been lucky the last two days? Where were these issues when the OG cougar dupe was going on 2 months ago? And the one after that got patched?

 

With that being said, I guess I'll continue on playing without an effing clue with no issues whatsoever.
