Had a tool trying to lasso me while being in Defensive mode, many times. He was able to pull me off my horse eventually, but couldn't do anything else. I stood up and got on my horse again, waiting for him to go Offensive and then shoot his ass. But he got smart and moved on.

Dynamite arrows one shot kill people in defensive mode. It's gonna be mental when everyone has them

On xbox my game has crashed twice and dropped frames immensely twice

The game still needs invite only/private sessions.  The defensive mode stuff only means griefers and trolls have to get creative if they want to ruin your play time. (For example, shoot at your horse just as you're entering the butcher so the horse runs too far away from the vendor, or moving in an attempt to have their horse trample you when they whistle.) There's nothing interesting or fun about riding into a town where all the npcs are dead and any attempt to talk to butcher is interrupted by someone shooting at you.

Rdo is so broken man.. getting crashed on my PS4 every 10-20 minutes. Also can’t get into showdown modes as I get stucked on loading screens.. stranger missions are not working as well

I also experience my point of view isn't consistent. In free roam, in third person, when walking or riding a horse, my point of view or the camera if you like, goes slowly down...

 

I have to constant adjust it upwards just to be able to  follow the path and not bumping into stuff like trees, people or other litter...

 

And it also happens while playing poker. My point of view just slowly moves away from my character first to the right and then down until I'm almost looking underneath the table. Them it stops moving almost like the camera just sits on the floor...

To the people that cant continue on the story mission, make sure you have the right honor, if the next mission require a honor you dosnt have it would never spawn on the map.

 

I think it was three honorable missions and two dishonorable if i remember right.

Even with the right honor i have seen it take some time to show up!

 

Friend of mine did a stranger mission and after it showed up on the map.

 

I like this update, the new anti griefe system seems to work great so far. I have only been killed one time in free roam after the update. 

 

I notice the poker cards is different for the different locations. Flatneck station have more farm motive on the cards, in blackwater you have big boobs and more town related stuff

 

It’s easy to see that they have put a more time and energy into the new story missions!

World feels mutch more alive with more npc, more animals and details.

 

This was a big step in the right direction. Only thing i can complane about is that i want more story missions to enjoy and the showdown dosnt working..

Odd thing happened after i completed a coach hijack in Valentine, i got the reward then suddenly got put back at the start of the same mission to recover the same coach from the same place which i completed again and got another reward which was nice. 

 

That kinda glitch i can live with!

It's so weird that some people have major issues and some don't. I've had 1 DC total in my time playing since the update, no crashes, only 1 bug (mission not showing up). I wonder what it is, cause it's not like I'm seeing half the issues some people are having, it's all or nothing.

 

I could understand if it this was PC with all the different hardware but on console it's bizarre to see problems like this.

Same here, not one disconnect. One lock up when trying to join land grab and a couple missions where it didn't give me the option to accept but that's it.

A lot of the beta issues aren't fixed yet and I really don't think Rockstar released this update, because they were ready for it. It was probably rushed because of the huge amounts of negative feedback on social media channels and rapidly decreasing player numbers/trust in Rockstar to fix any of their sh*t/angry shareholders, to please the crowd/shareholders and get players back to the game, before it really died. 400+ bugs fixed, but a lot of the Day #1 bugs are still in there. 

They just took off the Beta label, added a few features and modes rushed, but the game still is in beta stage.

Oh wow, they forgot to add 5 outfit storage to the new upgraded animal fur saddlebags I put on the new saddle, it only holds 3 outfits. I wasted 140 dollars for it. Plus additional 80 dollars to buy one of the old style ones which do hold 5 outfits.

Wait, there are furred saddlebags? That's so cool!!! I don't store more than three outfits, so that bug doesn't effect me... Thanx for the info, will check it out tonight!

Yeah, there's like 10 of them, differend animals. I am super disappointed my wolf one doesn't hold 5 outfits because that colour suited my new Nacogdoghes saddle.

 

I highly recommend that saddle, it plus best (but ugly) stirrups give +3 to speed and acceleration versus special saddle +2. Core drain rates are not as good as specials, but check it out guys!

I just did a race to try and get the top 3 finish in a race and to my surprise I won the race. There is a new finishing to it, winner is shown with their horse on podium!

 

I was battling with one guy, others were far behind. My opponent ran out of stamina, and I sailed to victory. I only played that one race so don't know if they now changed horse stats to affect. Just wondering since I had such an easy win, never had that before.

I've had like 1 crash so far and it was while going from RDRO to RDR2 SP.

 

I've actually found the game less buggy and less glitchy with this patch... but previous patches it seemed the opposite for me and others :s

 

This update in terms of gameplay/content is moving in the right direction.

 

However, annoyed theres no invite servers. Seems stranger missions remove you from def. mode too. Like really? Stranger missions pay sooo little for the effort. This isn't like GTAO with crates where high risk = high reward. This is high risk for pocket change.

 

I can blap a few birds or deer and get more cash in the same timeframe.

As far as disconnects are concerned; I got the black screen Rockstar services error several times whilst doing whatever in a lobby and afterwards - every time I even tried to join a new lobby. I then tried closing the game application and setting up my network connection again. That seemed to work or do something; I was not disconnected again the entire night.

 

My friend and I had issues with their Persistent posse; every time we would try to accept stranger missions, they would either grey themselves out after the NPCs had spoken, start and then auto fail due to abandonment, or just not launch at all. We tried using a temporary posse and alternating between being the leader and it still wouldn't work properly. However, after closing out, switching lobbies, and using fast travel, it seemed to work again and we didn't have any more issues.

 

Also, we did the Biggest Fish Challenge for the daily objective. At first, we could not get it to start - it showed as being greyed out; but in order for it to become available, you must be in a Persistent Posse and all members must have their fishing rods out and equipped.

 

After we finished this, we wanted to try the other challenges (Herb Picking and Bird Shooting), but they were always greyed out and unavailable entirely. Does anyone know how to start them? I couldn't find much information online, but I did figure out how to start the Biggest Fish challenge from a YouTube video.

 

The bugs are still present unfortunately; I've not had the blue screens that many have had, but last night was the worst I've seen with things not working properly. I hope they get things fixed; I'm actually enjoying the game so much since the update!

While R* is not off the hook with me I will say I am pleasantly surprised by RDO in its current state.

I look towards the future somewhat eagerly.

I saw it the other day but ignored it, but noticed mine has run out, lol. Both RDRO and GTA:O are free access and never noticed. What a blind plank!

This may be mind blowing to you, but did you know that in game development, your network and where you are based as well as the settings of your console or TV may cause issues in the game ?

Consoles do have the same issues but it happens more often on PC, that's why they need to take their own time developing the PC version.
