Cjrememberthat
To me, 5's gunplay is great, but when you have bullet time and you can't dual wield, roll everytime, shoot while running, it feels like the feature is really wasted, it doesn't feel like a running gun gameplay in this game...what is your toughts on this? I believe i'm not the only one...
El Penguin Bobo
I haven't used bullet time that much in V, but I found it useful in most situations during police rampages. Also, you can't run while you're shooting with bullet time enabled or roll? I might have to go back and check. god speed
Compared to Max Payne's bullet time Michael's slow-mo ability felt a bit watered down yeah, but I'm sure it was possible to hip fire while in slow-mo.
billiejoearmstrong8
Am I right in thinking that in bullet time everything is slowed down, including Michael's own movements and shooting? It seems like this to me and for this reason I basically never use it as it has little advantage - you still get hit with just as many bullets and can't hit the enemy with any extra ones, it's just the same thing that would've happened anyway happening slower. If everything else slowed down but Michael still moved at normal speed (closer to what Franklin's special driving ability is like) I would use it but as it is it just feels really frustrating trying to aim and shoot really slowly. Only time it's marginally useful is when trying to snipe particularly accurately or to get headshots where a mission objective requires it, but headshots are easy to get anyway due to the auto aiming system so it's not much benefit. And just the sight and feeling of shooting someone in V is never that great whatever speed it is (due to downgraded physics and animations and guns that feel like toys) so there's nothing special about seeing it slower either. By far the least useful of the special abilities. 1 hour ago, xXPinguXx said: I haven't used bullet time that much in V, but I found it useful in most situations during police rampages. You can do everything with it enabled but because Michael himself slows down loads during it if you do anything other than actually taking a shot with it enabled (eg running, rolling, taking cover, reloading etc) it takes AGES and the meter runs out before you can get to the shooting Edited May 12, 2019 by billiejoearmstrong8 El Penguin Bobo
Cjrememberthat
Not comparing it to max payne but what i mean is it is missing lots of movements and tactics for such a good gunplay element: like "holding a pistol two handed" Remember how it was in The matrix? El Penguin Bobo
Dual wielding you mean?
Cjrememberthat
I mean you know, protagonists in gta 5 uses everything with two hand, even the sawn off shotgun(except trevor was using it with one hand in one of the heists), it takes another great thing from gunplay(especially in bullet time)
El Penguin Bobo
If you're driving a bike or car, the drive-by's will be done with one hand, including the sawn-off shotgun. (it's really fun to use the sawn-off shotgun while on a bike) I do see what you mean though.
Cjrememberthat
Also when you use blind fire, they use one hand again
