Cool songs from 1984 that did not make it into game

As awesome as VCS soundtrack is --- there are many good tunes from 1984 that didn't make it into game.

 

For starters, Iron Maidens Powerslave album - one of the best Maiden albums and metal albums to this day featured so many awesome songs. "2 minutes to midnight" was in VC. But imagine songs like "Aces High" and "Rhyme of Ancient Mariner " on VRock.

 

Staying on metal, Metallica relaeased "Ride The Lightning" that year. But Metallica wasn't really played on radio. Still I imagine songs like "Fade To Black" and "Ride the Lightning" on Vrock.

 

At the end of April, local retro station had this weekend dedicated to 1984. They played a song that I heard for the first time in my life. Song had the beat from "Hit em Up" and "Paid in Full" except it had soul-like lyrics. I don't know who the artist was, but I really liked the song.

Since Appaloosa by Gino Vannelli and Everybody Loves The Sunshine by Roy Ayers were in the game I'm kinda disappointed that there wasn't a full length 70s Jazz Rock/Jazz Fusion type station (Espantoso isn't that, It was more of a Latin Jazz/Salsa station), really missed opportunity imo. Would have been dope to see some Weather Report, early Jan Hammer, Grover Washington Jr. or some Casiopea in the game.
