Kingbing
So I downloaded Gmax and the GTA tools scripts and proceeded to tweak one of the car models of the base game just to test it out. I successfully exported it and was able to double check that by opening the recently made .dff file in Gmax and it was the edit that I made. So I imported that .dff into modloader and loaded up San Andreas and then tried to spawn my car and the game crashed before it could spawn. I'm not really sure what the problem could be. I didn't do any major edits, just small tweaks to the model.
guard3
I’ll assume SA. Open the dff with rwanalyze and check at the very bottom there’s an extension 0x253F2FA (collision). If not, this is the reason it crashes Tut98

I opened it in rwanalyze and I can confirm that the extension is there.
Colbertson
Does it work if you just import and then export the car without touching it? Might be an issue with the i/o script or gmax. Edited May 2, 2019 by 𝙲olby Kingbing

guard3
tbh, getting an old 3ds max version, like 2012, should be your best bet. At least the plugins always work there
