GTATHUG77 Posted April 15, 2003 Share Posted April 15, 2003 did anyone go into the "reccomended PC stats, F*CK" is all i have to say. they want a Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP#### 256 MB ram and a GeForce 3 that's a bit steep considering how GTA3 ran on it's reccomended stats. The TV ad had stuff that the game had, like the helicopters having the reflection map showing up in the screens when they don't show any reflection stuff, really. The whole feel of the GTA3 images were totally not in-game. You don't get all those cars at traffic lights, the whole thing is filtered to look sharp and shaded, like a poster more than a screenshot. MP3 players, MODS, MODS, MODS, better graphics, better sound, patches (iin case they didnt fix all the PS2 glitches), customizable player skins, and many more featres yet to be announced. I have several reasons why I hate PS2, but the main reason is that PS2 just mimics something PC's have has for 5 years and they call it "new". Another reason is that MANY MANY kids play PS2. They play games like GTA3 and Vice City and their parents get mad and give GTA a bad rep. WHY SONY WHY! I ahve noticed in the past that r* is not a good source for news on GTA. They do not know the true potential of the PC. I told this one dude that I was gettin VC for PC and he said that It would have crappy overhead graphics and the PS2 version would be much better, just about everyone around where I live do that. I have a good comeback too to those morons. "If PCs didn't exist, the VC would not exist! What do you think they used to make VC? Well then if VC was made for the Ps2 on the PC platform, then R* are more than able to optimize VC for the PC platform to look and run much better than the Ps2 version! So don't diss PCs!!" PS2 would be OK with me if ppl would acknowlege the PC version more, thats all. R* doesnt help by not saying for PC in their commercials a month b4 it comes out.
