Kirk Lazarus
I would've paid a lot 3 months ago for more content. Now I wonder if there's going to be anything besides drips of online content. The only hope is that Rockstar has been so quiet because they're waiting to do a big new addition. If they don't say anything by E3 though... So what should we had expected by now? The soundtrack? The art book? An expansion? More single player updates? A different online balance by now? BurnettVice, crazedZ10 and jje1000

Rykjeklut
Just started playing the SP again, and jesus christ it's just as awesome. But on the flip side, online is still f*cking awful, and leaves a black mark on the entire game. f*ck you Strauss. tonko, RJX74, Lonely-Martin and 6 others

jje1000
100% bet a repeat of GTA V's scenario is happening right now. Rockstar is in panic mode trying to salvage RDO like they did with GTAO, and everything else is put on the backburner. There's barely any communications because they're bunkering down until they have something to show. I bet RDR2 is also running into issues with spaghetti code again, considering that simple things in Online still aren't fixed, and new patches for Online introduce new bugs in SP. RDO is essentially Anthem, likely developed in under a year, and nowhere near a 'beta' when released. Centralization of Rockstar's different studios into one giant studio was a bad thing- it means that they all fail together. Red Hardbro
They just need to call it quits in the online mode. Everyone saw it coming from the simple fact that the game is set in the realistic past and their was always going to be a limited amount of things you could put in the game. Chalk it up take the l and move to single player where they can make the rest of their money they already have a multiplayer that they milk do they really need two? GinsengElixir
I've never been a fan of this 'why haven't they added more stuff' mentality. We paid for a SP game and got a massive SP experience. R* aren't obliged to make any DLC's. That said, where's the soundtrack?! I need this.
7th Ward Charizard
considering how poorly RDO is performing, they totally will use anything leftover from story mode to try & lure people back in. They did the same sh*t with GTA, and it’ll happen again. Leftover Mexico files? last minute rehash for online! Darealbandicoot and tonko

Nulla Lex Ink.
They've already made a massive amount of money, but they're really missing a huge opportunity by not making more single player DLC. Online will probably not end up being a cash cow like GTAO was. Most of the fans of this game wants single player DLC and would be willing to pay 15-20 bucks for it. I guess the problem is they'd be guaranteed to only pay once in that scenario, whereas with online, they MIGHT pay more than once? I dunno, personally I think story DLC would be the bigger money maker for a game like this. RDR2 is a very story driven gaming experience so you'd think logic would dictate more story content equaling more money. They could probably make four or five DLC story packs for this game and rake in the money without much work, but it would require work so I guess that's why they won't do it. That being said, if DLC doesn't happen (and with each passing day that's looking more and more likely), I'm okay. We got a great story and a very full and fun gaming experience. It wasn't a half finished product like so many other games nowadays (such as GTA V), so I'm happy about that at least. Jabalous
What a time we spent here waiting, anticipating, predicting and analyzing since 2016 until release. And now? It's half a year old. I rarely play it these days because I've almost explored every inch in the map and had enough dosage of sightseeing. I wish we will get a story expansion, but I'm not betting on it. It will be a long, long time until the next chapter in the Red Dead franchise, and hopefully, or most likely given what we know, it will be a new universe. I stopped playing it after I finished its great story and jumped into the disastrous RDO for a couple of days because there's not really anything besides it that'd bring me back to playing this game again. SneakyDeaky
Three months since my last playthrough and I had to start another just this week. (got a new Sony TV, too) The game is full of so many missions, strangers, collectibles, Easter eggs, events, and spontaneous situations and opportunities for RP that this third playthrough still feels fresh to me. I was able to stop thinking about the game for a couple months but now I'm on here viewing threads or playing it again. This is why I'm less disappointed with Rockstar's brazen lack of support for SP. The SP we have is so deep and beautiful to explore that Rockstar's attempts to make me hate the SP and play Online are just not going to work. Of course I want new content, but it's a "fool me once" kind of scenario we have here: they are handling RDR and RDRO the exact same way they did GTA 5 and GTAO and to expect any different now would be foolish. I don't expect Undead Nightmare 2. I don't expect any new expansion to the story. I don't expect weapons or skins from Online to be released for SP. I don't expect them to bring back the better AO. I don't expect them to even fix most of the glitches that were there at launch, or have been introduced through patches since. I don't expect anything after GTA 5 so I'm not disappointed anymore. It's kind of a sad, cynical way to feel. I wish I had more hope for new content. lndex, Darealbandicoot, Nulla Lex Ink. and 7 others

I am considering doing it, but I played the hell out of the game 1st time around(though barely touched hunting). Algonquin Assassin
It's kinda hard to think back in 2010 the same of time elapsed from RDR1's release until Undead Nightmare. Am thinking to leave it to a PC release with mods.. ..or maybe I do that for a 3rd playthrough. We all play games differently I guess, but I usually do multiple playthroughs of games but then there are lots of games I never touch again. I only buy 2 or 3 games a year so I try to get as much longevity out of them as I can. I always replay Rockstar game multiple times, especially with it now taking so long between games. There are plenty of ways to get a fresh feeling from a 2nd or 3rd playthrough: You said you haven't tried much hunting yet, well I would start with that for sure. It's rewarding and you unlock the best outfits in the game. If hunting isn't your bag, you should at least unlock the legendary animals map from Hosea and try hunting a few of them. That way you get to experience hunting's main showcase and unlock a few cool outfits from the trapper, and move on if it isn't that fun for you. It can get tedious going back and forth to the trapper but some people use multiple horses, but IDK how that works exactly? If you played with auto-aim then switch to free-aim, or vice versa to switch it up. There are a few choices in the game, and subtle ways to screw around with the story. In my first playthrough I was an angel, but now I'm a real bastard and I kill witnesses, antagonize everyone, and take any chance I get to be a POS in the story. Spoiler Like killing Jimmy Brooks, leaving strangers trapped in bear traps, or under horses, to die. Refusing to help Javier save Bill then showing up anyway to be the big hero and Bill won't even thank you if you do it that way. I'm still in Chapter 2, so I haven't done much story yet, but I intend to keep being a prick. Play with the HUD and Mini Map off, or just use the compass. Don't buy everything from stores, take pride in taking the time to set up camp and craft your ammo and medicine. Use different weapons and different approaches to combat. Like now I'm just using the Tomahawk and bow a lot. The Skinner brothers wish they were as savage as me. My Arthur is slowly looking completely different. With hair growth, hair pomade, or the different outfits and trapper outfits, and weight gain, you can make your Arthur look unique. Go for 100%, do all the strangers and events, find a checklist of all the easter eggs and events (there are A LOT) and do them all if you haven't. And generally just play around with the experience. Your first playthrough is usually the "straight" way you would play it I guess? For most of us at least. The second playthrough should be about screwing around with the narrative and doing everything different, doing things you missed the first time, as you try to take a different path than you did before.
