Madman_ Posted April 28, 2019 Share Posted April 28, 2019 Is there any way to mod the US Vice City to have japanese only fixes/features like -fix for Love Juice mission that (when you go there with one seat vehicle) tells you to come back with another vehicle instead of crashing -changed strings for properties, like Kaufman Cabs instead of Taxi Company, Sunshine Autos instead of Car Showroom and so on.. -changed string "protection ring asset completed" to "vercetti estate asset completed" All this I got from Vadim M video there: Times: -5:10 -14:20 -14:40 My question is.. how much hardcoded is it, and is it even possible to change these things, mostly asking about these strings, cause I know mission fix is pretty hard if not impossible Tried searching for those, but unsuccesfully Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mysterdogg Posted April 28, 2019 Share Posted April 28, 2019 (edited) Well, if you only want specific parts of the Japanese version then copy the stock game and install the JP version on it. Later on extract what you want; 3D models, textures & data files are the easiest part and with the advantages of Modloader you won't need to replace anything.
