Spoiler With no explanation, I assumed it's for when the daily challenges weren't paying gold. if that's the case, then they paid me for 38 challenges, .01 x 380. Today he received 360 gold nuggets (3.6 gold bars) and I received 120, or 1.2 gold bars. Makes sense. Glad we got something anyway! EDIT: I haven't gotten the alert screen, but I do think I have extra gold. Not sure how much since I did a couple Spoils of War yesterday after I had noted how much gold I have. Or do you mean also the extra nuggets you would have gotten from doing all 7 in each day? I dunno what to tell you in that case. Imo it's fine, this is such a minor thing and not worth getting upset about even if you do think it wasn't enough for whatever reason. R* could have just as easily said "challenges are fixed again and are now correctly awarding payouts for completion" without doing anything to compensate anyone. Not trying to downplay anything but there was an issue, they fixed it and are now giving people the rewards they would have gotten if it wasn't broken. Also unless your challenges were extra borked the xp was working the whole time, it was just the nuggets not being awarded (apologies if this wasn't the case for you, I was still getting the xp myself and hadn't seen anyone mention not getting it.) To be fair, I didn't think I completed that many daily challenges when it was glitched. By thrilled I really mean surprised but hey, I'll take it! Since they're compensating for their error, maybe they can give back the money for all those times Crips didn't move our fecking camp! If R* can track the number of challenges any individual player completed and pay out the exact amount of gold nuggets each player was not credited upon completing each challenge then R* should also be able to easily add up the XP players missed out on and add that to their account too. I didn't expect them to compensate players, but as they are, they shouldn't half @rse it, XP should be adjusted too. I wouldn’t expect more from R* at the moment though, because they usually give us nothing these days. I did send them feedback and said they should give out 15 gold bars to everyone as compensation, so really I agree with you all. But yeah, not a bit surprised we get what we’re getting. I am glad we got some compensation at all. Rockstar could have played dumb and never given us anything. In retrospect, I should have done dailies even if they didn't pay out. Some of us had actually stopped RDO playing the game until offensive/defensive drops (because of the griefing), but I figured Rockstar would compensate players who actually logged in during the broken period. I suggested that people log in briefly everyday and just log out again. I would log on and kill Teddy once or twice and then log off. Some other days, I'd log into solo/passive lobbies and wouldn't intentionally do challenges but would get an alert that I had killed some animal, picked some herb, etc. Hell, as far as I'm concerned, Rockstar should give gold to anyone who ever played online becaus of the state it's in.
