That graphics card is too powerful for that CPU, you have a severe CPU bottleneck with that in GTA V, and that may be why it crashes.

Set a frame rate limiter of 30 (Riva Tuner) or set Vsync on Half in Graphics settings.

Also, how much RAM do you have?

looking at some benchmarks, I think your CPU would be more comfortable with a cap at 30. It doesn't reach 60 for the most part and only gets around 40 on average.

With fps limited at 30 it leaves some breathing room for Windows.

As for your graphics card, it can probably handle Very High settings at 30fps no problem (just don't use Ultra Grass Quality or 8x MSAA), but leave everything in the Advanced Graphics menu off.

Most settings in the normal Graphics tab will not affect cpu performance too much.

Regarding loading your game each time.

I have found that GTA V online loads much quicker if you load Game Mode first and once loaded then try and go online. This usually takes me anything from 3.5 to 5 minutes from starting the game to being online. Used to take me from 6 to 10 minutes before.

This is the first time that I have mentioned this, so I would be pleased to hear how it works for others.
