Yes because its my game that I paid for, what am I supposed to do, not play it? The issue is that you think the game is boring without human interaction.

Edit - To stay on topic, I still agree with my opening post. Only sad, pathetic little people destroy Cargo for sh*ts and giggles. This is not aimed at anyone on here, just a general observation.

Reality check - Just because you paid for something doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want with it; it doesn’t mean it’s supposed to do backflips to satisfy you or your desires. Nobody forced you to buy it.

Other than that, I wholly agree with you that this is all a product combination of R* greedy business model (as I had mentioned a few pages earlier) and jerks.

Well that's wrong. I am able to make my game as fun as I can make it without hurting or affecting literally anyone.

Um, if the game were fun, that would be a reason to play. If the only reason to play is chase invisible money rather than having a good time, then there is something wrong with your game.

And yet, for many players, that is exactly what they are doing, with many (like you maybe) frigging the game connection so you can do that without interruption.

Smokewood is right. You don’t like the game as presented so contrive a version of it that suits you, and that is your prerogative. I’m not sure why you waste your time arguing about griefing when you have spent five years playing a manipulated version of the game in which this is not going to happen to you anyway.

Well, sure.. I’m not saying that you can’t.  In fact I’d hope most players would do this.

What I said is just because you paid for it doesn’t mean it has to abide exclusively to your standards.

You can use as many big words as you like, but my point was that you think that players think that the game is boring unless they're trying to acquire money, rather than actually playing the game. Which is true. Which is also what makes a bad game. Why don't you partake in businesses? "Because I cant be bothered to do them" which is why you resort to PvP.

Hold up dude, don't put words in my mouth.

I play all aspects of GTAO.

I have all the MC businesses, CEO office, I/E warehouse, hangar, bunker, facility, and nightclub.

I also like running contact missions with my friends, robbing stores, stealing cars, doing survivals, etc...

If I had a few regulars I would do the original heists and the lowrider missions too.

On top of all this I also like to just be in freeroam and to do whatever I feel like.

Get over yourself, grow a pair and make some sells in a full lobby - the way the game was designed!

I could use some really big words if you like? 😂

It doesn’t make the game bad, it just makes the way it is played bad. I make money from doing a bit of everything, mostly racing. I play the game, and the money accrues. But the obsession with making as much as possible as fast as possible has become all consuming for many players, which is why places like this forum list guides and strategies on how to cycle the business activity to provide a rolling method of money making.

People want things. People don't want to get things at a slow pace. The game constantly feeds them things they want to buy. This is why people want to run businesses, and slowing them down effectivey achieves nothing.

Hire people to help you. Are you this anti-social? Obviously not your on a discussion forum.

Hire people and use your brain to succeed.

It's like you don't even want to be bothered to even try.

Jesus Christ you really don't get it. All im saying over here is that these missions are designed terribly and that adding human element only makes them worse and you're suggesting I read r*s newswire from like 3 years ago.

No I guess I don't get it...

Your opinion that they are designed terribly is just that, an opinion. I think they are fine... they can be really hard to finish but when I do, I get paid big time.

Plus how can you be this anti-social in game? Hire people to help you sell or don't run PvP missions - it's really that easy.

I'm in a friendly crew, I sell in peace in protected lobbies that other players can't even join by chance (so yeah, we rarely have to kick other players anymore, which is a plus in my book), I haven't got a sale destroyed in months, I have like 100 million of dollars from sales, I could give less of a f*ck about other players who are foolish enough to try a 4 Post Op van sale in a packed lobby, yet, somehow, I still care.

You know why? Because I was that fool trying to make a 4 Post Op van sale in a packed lobby once. With all due respect to my crew members (if they do see this post), but some of them (and most grinders in general) quickly forget about how grueling the grind actually is when they start making millions by letting the console on overnight or something. I'm set for one or two updates, yet I still care for the players who barely can manage to make do legitimately in this game because of griefers, trolls, tryhards and whatnot.

I still have some empathy left even after meeting this cesspool of a playerbase that this game has and that's exactly why I will always argue against destroying cargo, I don't get affected by it anymore, yet some players still do and I want the game to be more fair to them, that's what I would wanted for me when I was a level 100 trying to evade Hydras while grinding MC Contracts because I didn't knew of solo public sessions at the time.

That’s the problem with today’s society. They want everything now.

Its a videogame that's supposed to indulge in your rich guy fantasy. Of course people want things. Yet you still don't understand why people want things to go as smooth as possible, and get upset when they eventually don't.

I understand why they do, but the misunderstanding is theirs if they are getting upset because they are being hindered.

Lol I don't know how many times I've told you but I'll tell you again. These missions arent fun. Adding more people to then just adds chaos. People want things to go as smoothly as possible and I will respect that until you wrong me. Do you understand that?

K, like 80% of my sales are successful. A point I should bring to the table is anybody who regularly plays should find a suitable place to reside instead of staying and complaining - while knowing the play style of the majority of the game's playerbase, it's not often you land in a "chill" session (or if you do, it's typically not long until somebody joins and creates a sh*tshow of killing.)

Many of us have forgotten the convenience of switching sessions literally on demand, at any time; only downside being a potentially long-ass wait in the clouds until the game puts you into another open session, either that or initiate a solo one yourself. Fairly simple...just find the methods relative to your platform.

I'd say the odd time I like the competition of defending my cargo; if it means I can dish out some revenge, or make 'em suffer. I'm semi, sorta, somewhat paranoid, and I do like an uninterrupted Sunday drive, but really though...take the time to monitor the activity outside of your corridors - Is there killing? Oppressors? High player count?

It's certainly up to you. Make a sensible decision if your cargo is highly valuable.

You prolly won't get an answer out of that. They'll prolly ask "well why don't you stick to contact missions"

I do contract missions too.

DM or Adversarial would be better money for them than 2k for griefing.

Edit: Especially for the guy that said he's bought Shark Cards.
