Today while playing Spoils of War I forgot to buy ammo in the lobby but when I was in the game I saw that I was fully stocked. In fact more than fully stocked. I seemed to be carrying everything that was on order and ready for collection from the post office. I feel like it'll make them skip bandoliers for our characters lol. No need for it when I carry 1000 of all rounds as is unless they make it purely cosmetic. Plus it always feels so cheap to me. It's a game I know and this game already has supernatural cards and magic bullet stopping hats, but we have the other side of having to eat, take care of our horses. I like the small amount of realism we have, carrying what we do already is a lot. I also feel like having limited ammo eventually forces you to approach gunfights differently. More of a preference really then anything but, yeah, just feels so gimmicky to always have insane amounts of ammo. I never have to stock up after a single mission, sometimes I can go a few days unless I end up in a gunfight with a bunch of players so I figure people aren't just burning through ammo having to restock so much it ruins the immersion. And even in Free Roam, and if you PvP exclusively in Free Roam, you're never really far from a place to grab more. Nothing but marksman rifles and RPG spam. Used to be the RPG was saved for a tank. Then it ended up something to spam at people's feet. I guess I could live with standard ammo having a high capacity. Meh though. But if people start being able to throw a thousand sticks of dynamite all over the place it'll suck a bit in my opinion. I've been playing the same as always and apart from being unsure on how much ammo I actually have on me, everything seems to be working fine. When I pick up ammo from the post office, it fills my characters capacity. I.E. I shot a single round from my bolt action, and it only took a single round from my stock in the post office when I restocked. I might be missing the infinite tonics bug, I was slamming dead-eye tonics when I was versing a posse last night. Had 20, by the end I was down to about 8 if I remember right.
