Seriously, I've seen better sh*t growing from a dead dog's arse. It's becoming almost comical though with just how bad things are and how they seem to be trying to top themselves each week with disappointing and pissing people off. Getting very, very close to just packing it in at this stage. The game could end be amazing and all our wishes fulfiled. Lobbies, Businesses, Gambling, Stranger expansions. But there's only so much abuse I'm willing to take. They made a ground breaking, globally acclaimed game and then sh*t on it. I paid £50, I'm happy to cut my losses at this stage. Rockstar, you've showed us what you're capable of. You've showed us you can do so so so so SO much better than this and that's precisely why it's so hard to ignore the state of this game and GTAO right now. It's hard to walk away and indulge in other things knowing what a piece of sh*t both of your games are right now and how much untapped potential they have. TALK to us. COMMUNICATE. So what if there's backlash, it's so much worse when you DON'T say anything and give us all the silent treatment. We're all just tired of being treated like this week after week, month after month with no signs or indication of this game getting any better. Maybe it will but you're not communicating that to us, just a slight status update every now and then would do WONDERS. Rockstar operates like it’s 1998 still. Back when game developers were just some nondescript entryless building that would randomly crap out an egg that when hatched, contained a video game. People would consume it, patiently waiting until the next egg popped out. You had no idea what happened inside, or when anything would come out. You took what you were given and didn’t ask questions. The problem is, it’s not 1998 anymore. That style of development just doesn’t fly in this day and age, because gaming has become such an investment in terms of time and money. If you’re going to keep treating a game like it’s ‘one and done’, don’t expect people to keep putting money into it. They got lucky with GTA 5. Redemption 2 proves lightning doesn’t strike twice. They’ve been riding on the fame and prestige they earned with games like GTA Vice City, San Andreas, and GTA 4. And Redemption 1. People know and respect Rockstar because of those games, not because of GTA 5 or Max Payne 3. Or even Redemption 2. But we’re rapidly approaching an era where the main playerbase for their games weren’t even ALIVE when those legendary games launched. If they don’t step their game up and get with the times in terms of how games are developed and makntained after launch, we’ll see them either go through what Nintendo learnt the hard way with the Wii U, or what Sega did with the Saturn and Dreamcast. And Atari with the Jaguar. Nintendo got their act together, Sega and Atari did not. Time will tell which path Rockstar chooses to take. I rode through the swamps for an hour looking for whooping cranes...none to be found, I honestly have not seen one since they nerfed swamp birds, but I havent really hunted the swams a lot. Whooping cranes, go to Quaker's cove, they are by the shore, just sitting there. You know, I got the felling that we are the testing R* team. They change something and instead to go to the test area/department first, it goes live and we are the testers. They keep making changes all weeks, hence all the new bugs/glitches. Just my opinion.
