[GTAO] The "Sorry, Not Sorry" Thread

There's so much to appreciate and be grateful for in GTAO, but often I find that there's a lot that's frustrating, too.
So, when I am able to retaliate against those annoying little things, like bad NPC drivers or the blood-thirsty LSPD, that's when I say, "sorry, not sorry!"

My first "sorry, not sorry" goes to the player that wanted me to shuttle him around the map, like I was a frickin' taxi service.

I was kind and patient with you at first, indulging your request to ride with me because you were a level 24.
But, you pushed it too far. Squeaked in my ear. Became that annoying player I can't stand.
So, I'm sorry I killed you 20-25 times, over and over, until you finally ran away to another lobby...
...but, I'm not sorry because dammit, you're 11 years old and playing MY game.

My second "sorry, not sorry" goes to the group of gangsta punk NPCs down by the B.J Smith Recreation Center over at Chamberlain Hills.
Every time I go there to just chill out and use the BMX bike that's just sitting there, they all go hostile and start shooting at me, trying to murder me...

For just riding an abandoned bicycle. I mean, think about that. Overreact much?
So, I'm sorry I had to decimate you and all your gangsta punk friends...
...but, I'm not sorry, cuz, well, you're a bunch a gangsta punk NPCs programmed to be total toolbags.

And lastly, a "sorry, not sorry" to everyone moaning about the Oppressor and the MKII being too overpowering and ruining the game.
Sure, I hate them, too, and agree that they ruin the original fun and immersion into the game, but the fact is – they're in the game now.
So, I'm sorry for blowing up your shipment and leaving you standing by the side of the road in your nuclear military outfit...
...but, I'm not sorry because, frankly, the fact that you're surprised that people do this in GTAO is just naive.
 

What are you "sorry, not sorry" for in GTAO? A specific mission, crew or group of players, or maybe even a post or personality here on the forum?
Maybe you're sorry for being a knob to your office assistant, but not sorry because they do a lousy job of cleaning the place?
Or perhaps you're sorry for getting stuck inside LSC with the mechanic to avoid the cops, but not sorry for blowing him up trying to escape?

Anytime I ready up at whatever cut I'm initially offered and the host reduces it last second to something too low for my tastes at that moment is gonna be in for a rough heist indeed, lol.

 

Sorry/not sorry. Offer fair cuts or at least offer the 0% and see if the other player/s are ok with it before launching that finale otherwise what's about to 'go wrong' is all on you.

Absolutely! I never understood the thinking behind this. I mean, sure I get cheap or greedy, but knowing that there's a consequence for doing it... well, "sorry/not sorry" is right.

After getting slaughtered on so many Stand Your Grounds, I'm not sorry I discovered I could go passive and drive an ambulance lights on and sirens blaring in the capture zone. I'm also not sorry I find that more satisfying distracting you and smashing your cars around with my vigilante.

Sorry, not sorry for emptying an entire clip into a single NPC driver's head, for massively docking my payday because they couldn't drive like a normal human being.

 

Arrrrrghh... seriously, U-turns aren't legal regardless if you hear gunshots! Oh, and as you're cruising down the highway in your fancy drop-top Ubermacht; actually practice using those turn signals for once in your life and give me some notice before you decide to swerve across the road as if you were drunk! GET SOME DRIVING LESSONS!

For the guy who take out our counterfeit sale by waiting right at my business  off the map in his batmobile. 

 

Friend started stand your ground. He wasnt able to get rid of his mc and go passive and we ( me and two friends) spawnkilled him for nearly 30 minutes.

I'm sorry, not sorry for leaving and distancing myself from the crews that I used to be a part of. Yea, I'm sorry because I did have a lot of great times throughout the years, met some quality people, and established a few long-term friendships, but I'm not sorry because I don't want or need people's petty drama, having to endure biased and cliquey crew politics, and/or forcing myself to adhere to a stack of policies, rules, and regulations in order to play a video game. Thanks, but no thanks; that's just not me at all.

 

There's a lot that I simply just don't tolerate anymore and if it starts to feel like a daytime soap opera or a gruelling full-time job, it's best that I just walk away and go at it alone or find individuals who feel the same as I do.

Im sorry/not sorry for time ive wasted playing gtao. Im also sorry/not sorry for making three main accounts just for gta. Special mention also goes out to my former crew from 2015 to 2017 I dont miss the bullsh*t but I miss the fun times.

To whoever came along in a Buzzard all the way across the map when I was doing Headhunter in my Akula that one time more than a year ago.

It was the last target, by the pool at the hotel on del Perro Blvd, and he just hovered in front of the target looking at him.

What was I supposed to do?

He was directly in the way, so I came out of stealth mode (I had been going in and out of stealth the whole time - should have been pretty obvious what I was doing) and stuffed a missile up his exhaust.

Then I killed the target to finish the mission, but apparently dude thought I wanted to play 1v1 at the hotel (no beach for you!).

He commenced wiggling and rolling so I left, I ain't playin' that game.

 

So...sorry! (not really).
