Trading property in on discount

I just bought the 50k clubhouse on my second character I want to trade it in for different one. Right now I get 25k towards a new clubhouse (half of what I paid) but If I wait until its off sale would I get the value of what its normally worth?

The game will remember to the price you paid for things, you can't earn more this way. Unless there is a bug with some properties I don't know about.

Yeah I figured since cars worked that way when theyre free the cub might too, its not that big of a deal since I decided I didn't want to wait anyway but id still like to know for future knowledge

I'm sure you can't sell it for better than half the price you paid for it (so 25k in the future too), but I guess you have nothing to lose right now. You already bought that for your second. And there is a chance both of your characters will get 250k for owning a Clubhouse. In that case you win big, if that's per account, you still won't lose if you move your second's clubhouse after. And in the worst case we're talking about 1-2 Headhunter incomes, it's really not serious money in the game's current economy.

i’m sure exploits like this were patched long ago if they even existed in the first place.

 

saying that not long ago a trip to a certain hanger could make you millions an hour afk so you never know
