what if you go AFK in a mission overnight and your connection gets interrupted...

My question is let's say I'm letting my nightclub accrue stock overnight. If everything went fine for 5 hours before my connection forced me off GTA online, does my "progress" in my nightclub and bunker still save occasionally as if I was seeing the little saving icon? Or do you need to actually complete or fail the mission yourself for the game to save my progress?

 

It's happening more and more lately and I'm trying to figure out if it's happening soon after I shut off my controller and go to bed or hours later.

The game should save most of your progress before you got kicked off. For the club each business takes a certain amount of time to build up. Like the coke business goes up 1/10 every 2 hours and Im not sure about the others. But you can find out and use this to know about how long it took for you to get kicked and also to check how much was saved.
