yeah, vlad hair glitch out as well in my game, seems the creator mistook the damaged vlad model with the good one

i know how to returned vlad hair from his original state, but the in-game vlad hair was already glitched (part of vlad hair get inside vlad head unlike his Cutscene Model) the mod creator i supposed he tried to fix that, he did it but in his first version also glitched, the second version, he fixed that glitch but in his last dowloading it seems he mistook back the first version of the modded vlad hair, so i recommend you to wait until @TheYoshiPunch launch another update with vlad hair, but if you don't want to wait

 

  1. first you extract an unmodded ig_vlad.wdd (using Export to OpenFormat)
  2. then you do the same with the modded ig_vlad.wdd
  3. open the folder of the unmodded ig_vlad.wdd and copy a file called "hair_000_r_high"
  4. you pasted and replace the file "hair_000_r_high" in the modded vlad folder
  5. you go to OpenIV and select Import OpenFomat, then click to the modded ig_vlad.odd

i've recommend you separate Both Modded and Unmodded ig_vlad files and folder in separates folders or you will overwrite it when you "Export to OpenFormat" 2 models with the same name

So i've encountered a problem, when i launch BOGT it crashes a minute in, and the opening cutscene freezes mid way in. I've read the instructions in the read me and i've done them but it still doesn't want to launch.

I'm not too sure if this is the one mod causing it, but I'm asking just in case. I'm doing Diamonds on the Rough for GTA TLAD, but once I reach the docks and the cutscene where Tony, Luis and the Cook appear, it gets stuck in an infinite loading screen. Is there anything in this mod that could cause such an error?

The file "Cs_Luis.odd" should be cs_luis.wdd instead. When I try to replace the file on Open iv, it gives me this error: "Fatal error: File "lowr_000_u.skel" not found." Unless I'm using an older version and you already addressed that, TLAD is currently uncompletable.

Maybe you are using the old version, cause it not included anymore.

WARNING

If anyone saw my mod on libertycity.net I did not uploaded, it was upload by someone who didn't asked my permission.

This is great but I think Russian kidnaper and other guy should be other way around because other guy still has his beard in GTA IV (Which happens later) and other guy uses similar but has no hear in Johnny DLC. Maybe you can fix for next time because I would love to play a different way around. Does Jim and Michael also have same voices from The Lost and The Damned? This would be good if not. You can use maybe some spoken lines from the update. I tried to use mod before for characters but they was bent. Do you fix this? If so I will download for sure thank you.

Hello I only make this suggestion, this ped has some oddity in the texture of her hair Is there any chance that it can be fixed? I know he is a character that is not relevant, but it is very rare to see him.

Hey, just wanted to ask how do I get the newchar.ide to work ingame? like I put the file in all of the games folders and it still either shows nothing or flat out crashes

Depending on where you installed GTA IV you navigate to GTAIV/common/data/.

Inside the data folder you should find a file called gta.dat, open that file with the text editor of you choice and add those lines at the very bottom of that file:

#
#  Characters
#
IDE common:/DATA/newchar.ide 

Now, save gta.dat. and close it.

 

Assuming you are using the Complete Edition since you mention crashes, go into GTAIV/TBoGT/, again, open the file called content.dat with a text editor and add this line at the very bottom of the file:

DISABLE_FILE common:/data/newchar.ide

Save content.dat.

This should fix it.

All of those steps above are included in the readme by the way so it couldn't have hurt to have a little glimpse inside it before installing.

Ya know I did read and try to copy the instructions but it just never worked for me that's why I felt the need to ask here lol. But yeah thanks man I had to sacrifice the MP characters to get Eugene and the Triad showing since the newchar.ide never worked for me

Can someone help me install this for the Complete Edition version? The readme doesn’t seem to make it clear. I’m mostly confused as to where I put the files in the pc and common folders in the EFLC for Steam and Retail folder. 

 

Edit: It seems that novatic_'s post helped out with it mostly. Though I did experience a crash on Diamonds in the Rough in TLAD even on a new save.

I find out the file roman3.sco cause my game freeze when i loading into the mission ' three's a crowd ', and the game runs fine after i put back the original file into it.

 

I was in 1.0.4.0 retail version.

1.0.4.0 sco is different from the newest patches

Is that mean 1.0.4.0 mostly will having problem to work with all the newest sco files? Im only at the early stage of the game so i not sure how the other sco files will work rather fine or not.

 

Edit: Its seems like mission ' Uncle Vlad ' got this error also, put back the original roman7.sco fixed the problem.

The edited mission scripts only support v1.0.8.0. Since Patch 5 and up R* has changed/updated the native function hashes.

 

Using v1.0.8.0 mission scripts in v1.0.4.0 will most likely/most definitely crash/freeze your game.

 

I planned on editing v1.0.4.0 mission scripts as well since I did most of the v1.0.8.0 edits for Yoshi, but I haven't gotten to it yet.

Is it possible for this mod to be updated with the ciadlc 02 fib ped to appear in To Live and Die in Alderney? I'd edit it myself but I don't have knowledge on how to do it. Or, can someone tell me how I can edit the mission files to get them to spawn?

Hey, same thing happened to me until I swapped the head with a different mod. I was wondering what is up with that.

Hello. I'am sorry, my english is bad.

 

 In the mission, when Mallorie calls that Roman has been kidnapped, the game always ends the moment I approach the warehouse (crash). Why?. Version Steam complete edition.
