Thoughts over Writing in single-player video games.

I'm having it clearer than ever that good Writing is of absolute importance to the quality of a single-player video game.

Recently, I've played West of Loathing, which has superb writing, then I've played RDR2. which makes hunting wild boars a huge relief from the boredom of that game's pathetic, useless writing.

 

West of Loathing is a much better game than RDR2, and there's a reason for that.

As a connoisseur if bad writing, I applaud the above post.  Especially that first sentence. An all time classic.
