About the daily contact mission objective.

Does the heist setups (preferably the doomsday ones) counts towards the "complete contact missions" daily objective?

Or is it a glitch?

Because I've just completed the setup mission where you hack targets with the deluxo, when I completed it, a pop-up notification told me that I've completed the daily contact mission objective.

yes, i'm pretty sure it's intentional. Arena War modes will count for vehicle deathmatch objectives as well

 

I think it all boils down to how the missions/modes were created. Probably some "base" mode that has the same tags or whatnot. I don't know, i don't dig into the files at all

For some reason dd heists were setup as missions and not heists. I'd love to know why.

Because they finished heists after 6 years and were like "f*ck doing that again".

 

IE They have a contact mission editor, and they already extended it to eg the serialised Lamar missions. I doubt they have a heist editor that isn't heavily hardcoded to the 5.

It's a good thing, though, right? Some of those dailies are just plain annoying, so any way to get credit for one without intending to seems like a good thing.
