Old freemode events back?

i couldn't help but notice but on youtube, in recent videos i've been seeing hunt the beast, king of the hill and in my own in-game sessions criminal damage free mode events are appearing again. but for the last year or so they haven't been in the game. am i being really stupid and they've been in the game all along or have they actually been added to the game in a recent event week? nobody else seems to be paying any attention to them.

This and also I think the ones disabled were duplicated in areas wars.

Seems to me like they want to make it more difficult to get stuff from event cargo by having more variations for events.

i love some of this events, most people just ignore them so its easy money.

 

the other day i won fastest speed when i clocked a whooping 59mph on my bandito

 

i was also called a cheater when i achieved a score of 10million in criminal damage haha everyone else was struggling to get past the 200k mark, i was lucky the game spawned a endless stream of busses and they are like 250k a pop

Yay to those events. I wondered what had happened to them. King of the Castle is easy now though with the OP2, the game that takes on the beach at the tower. Just kill the king, then land on the roof.

Air Checkpoints is back too, or at least it was before the tunables this week. You get paid for every checkpoint you fly through, plus a bonus at the end, making for decent cash. It's also a decent chance to use an Alpha-Z1 or a Howard NX25 just for the fun of it.

Lol I got called a cheater once because I got over 6 million within a second, but I simply placed 5 stickies around Fort Zancudo.

I miss the frequent Business Battles, for me, I really enjoy them and they have provided some very fun and intense moments in freeemode. 

 

But, on the other hand, I sure do enjoy grabbing the Hot Property case in my Akula

Easy tactic for win and 35,000GTA$:

 

1. Buy hangar in Zancudo.

2. Buy Savage.

3. Before start create criminal org and call Buzzard.

4. Fly and land in Zancudo.

5. Call your Savage.

6. After start event destroy Buzzard and this is give you 710,000GTA$.

7. Fly around Zancudo and destroy jets, tanks, trucks.

8. .......

9. PROFIT and WIN!

 

I want to back two best events in GTAO: heist armory trucks and special drop crates!

thehe, everytime it starts there, I drive to the near LSC over the river, climb on the roof and snipe the hell out of whatever spawns in sight there. Before someone even notice where the bullets come from, the timer almost ended. Not that I care my K/D, but its better training than any shooting range can offer :).

I very lightly side-swiped an NPC car, claimed 1st, and spent the rest of the time hiding to preserve it; thankfully it was a quiet session and nobody else really went for it. Did not expect to still be in a podium place at the end!

Ha ha, I do that occasionally. I usually pick a player who I feel ought to win, usually a low rank noob, and snipe everybody else trying to take him out.

well this was unexpected, I should have twigged when whywontyoulisten told me he was participating in Hot Property last week.

 

So does that mean all free roam events are finally running again, I may have to frequent some public lobbies again...
