DYOM# (Addon for DYOM)

Thank you for the update! Now the new pickups are working perfectly. @The Half-Blood Prince, all you have to do is hold TAB and press Y or N to browse the new pickups.

 

However, sadly, I haven't been able to use modloader to turn this add-on on or off. But that's not a major problem.

 

A question: Can you provide the ID numbers of all your new objects?

 

EDIT: I think I noticed a bug with the new objects feature. When I press TAB, it's asking me for an ID, but when I enter an ID, for example 100, it takes me to -116, with an empty object. That's right, negative 116.

Try to create DYOM# folder in the modloader directory and put 2 files there without CLEO folder. It should works. At least, it works for me

It's not a bug. You should press Y if you want to choose DYOM objects and press N for other objects

It would be extra helpful if you provided only the ID of all your new objects that you added. I know you provided a site, but it's not easy to find the new objects that you added from that site as it contains way too many objects to search from.

 

Also, the new objects feature sometimes is also causing a lot of crash issues, which I suspect might be due to the ID number entered not being associated with any object. So please do the above, if possible.

 

So, to be really specific, how would you find the new TV object that you showed in your screenshot? Make it clear

You can add any game object that you want, my friend. Just look at ID list on the site

Okay, so I wanted this object:

But when I hit TAB, put in this number and pressed N, the game crashed.

 

Please note that some objects like guns and stuff were working. But most other objects just causes the game to crash. ☺️

maybe it's SAMP object? you can't add SAMP objects, only SA

I gotta tell, the object selection feature is perhaps the most important one already released in an update for DYOM. I don't want to put down any update made by Dutchy and Patrick, they had their importance, but the multiple possibilities we have with this tool now is something priceless (more than 10.000 objects!!!). We literally can build a new game with such variety. If you find a way to increase the limits of objects, it will be the cake's cherry that is missing for the add-on to be perfect. Once again, thank you for this.

This is because DYOM identifies new objects as the effects (effects can't move). I don't know what to do about it yet

Wow the way you implemented them as effects instead of objects is really clever. Unfortunately it's impossible to add animations in a similar way.

I just run my game in DYOM with the add-on installed and i surprisingly amazing. I just check only the new features, but I'm think that this add-on is more useful than the V8.2 topic by Springfield. Of course, i'm just getting nervous that too much objectives, actors, pickups, objects placement is too far now for me, that's all.

 

Hope to see more features coming soon for this add-on and some new improvement and bug fixes SIZZZ, it's really awesome. 😄😄

I try to install those 2 files in the folder of my kernel and when I use any version of dyom like v8.1 or v8.2 it stays on the black screen and the game is crashed and if I try to play the story mode, nothing happens but I can not access any version of the dyom
