Reason being, Auto aim basically rewards shooting first majority of the time The dudes you went against prob didn't have a fast enough reaction to aim slightly up and head shot. I've come across some people like that higher and lower rank than me who couldn't do that as fast. As for cheating, it doesn't really exist (unless you use a glitch). It's more about how i generally be hunting in freemode and I've had people shoot me for no reason at all (In cities, I don't shoot on sight). Then my horse is either killed or despawns which gets rid of a bulk of my pelts for nothing. True KD doesn't really matter but it's annoying when 20$+ of your pelts get messed up like that or you're just trying to hunt and some dude blasts ya. He was purple and in a posse but his friends were elsewhere. I put down my rod and waved at him while he shot down birds. He skinned one and then waved back. Should I have killed him because he got close to me? Never! I made a short friendship and it was great. I returned to fishing as he was hunting nearby. I hear one of his friends approach, and I immediately take a bullet to the head from him, my hat falls off and my character automatically draws her pistol. I go dead eye and blast his face, killing him. His friend (my new acquaintance) still stood closeby, now red to me, and I think ”what now?”, but he does nothing, instead tries to get on his horse and move away. I dont shoot him because he’s not aggressive to me, even though his posse’s all turned red. His friend respawns and is riding straight towards me, out for revenge. I pop his face again, but before he respawns the posse leader must’ve quick joined some activity as they all disappeared. I’m that kind of player. I don’t go aggressive for no reason and I rather give people the benefit of doubt, even if it means me getting shot first. I shoot first, this whole game goes down the sh*thole of GTAO free roam.
