What do you think about GTA: VI being set in Kansas City or Chicago?

The next location for GTA VI is a mystery and they've already used Vice City, Liberty City and San Andreas alot.

Kansas city if it's a two city game with Kansas City and Las Vegas set in the past with the protagonist as a member of the Kansas City Mob. The KC mob has interests in LV and you travel between both cities.

 

 

I'd love to see Chicago too and the Two city thing could work with Chicago and LV as well like in the show Crime Story.

I’d rather see Chicago than Vice City tbh. I’m sick of going to cities we’ve already been to. Coming to a entirely new location would be something good for the series.

 

I also like the idea of Portland, there’s some really nice scenery over there I’ve heard.

I wouldn't mind seeing Kansas City, it's close to where I live and most games don't really go for locations like that. As others had said, Chicago has been done by Watch Dogs, so I don't really see a need to do it again.

I'd prefer a city based on Chicago.Or maybe Detriot (both are iconic Midwestern cities with reputation of having high rates of crime).Maybe even have both cities on one big map.

I really want VI to be Vice City, but the game after that could be Chicago.
Both GTA and WD had their takes on a modern-day LA, I'd love to see Rockstar take a stab at Chicago.

Watch_Dogs didn't use LA, in WD2 it was San Francisco

Definely Chiraq, since this places is FULL OF GANGS, it's could be nice to see counterparts from the Vice Lords, Black P. Stones, Gangsters Disciples, Spanish Cobras, Simon City Royals, etc. And it could be nice the Spanish Lords returning, since they are based on the Latin Kings

And a GTA game that takes place in Chiraq could be very hard like GTA III, or would surpasses GTA III's difficulty since Chiraq have too much gangs

And with the amount of gangs and gang warfare that the city experiences on an almost weekly basis (just this past Saturday, 6 people were shot at a baby shower in a gang retaliation, and they were only 6 out of the 24 people shot across the city the entire weekend), they could bring back the San Andreas-style gang territories and center the story around gangs (and maybe base Online off of the original idea they had for GTA Online when V was in development, the entire game was centered around gangs).

I don't know much about the US cities, but I surely want a new setting.

 

Nothing wrong with New York City, Miami, California, but they are overused.

 

Las Vegas would be a pretty good choice too. It wasn't explored much in San Andreas, so, I don't think people will mind giving it a shot.

I'm not too sure about Kansas City since there's nothing of interest there but I do believe that there should be a rendition of Chicago in the near future.

We haven’t been to VC since 2006. It’s time to have it in 4K HD.

 

I’d imagine VI will have all previous cities in together as one big map.

If it's modern day? Neither, a more modern upcoming city would be somewhere like Atlanta, a city with a rich racing background, black culture and invading Hollywood presence, it's prime for a GTA spoof.

A ton of ppl outside and possibly even a considerable amount inside the us wouldn't even know that kansas city isnt in kansas so its recognition isnt as great as chicago.
