To be honest, i dont know. I am studying at the unversity now so there is not so much free time for modding. But hey - i will try to make it and upload here as soon as i could.

This mod deserves to be in GTASA engine, more features, more weapons, cars, movement, etc.

GTA 3 gameplay feels so bland when you compare it with SA's.

I tried it and mod is totaly great. just one point I am not happy with it, buildings and roads are fine, traffic is fine, peds are ok and really looks crowded in map but... there are no prop details. like this

because of that city is looking a bit unreal for me.

I am sorry, but KC map has some props like street and trafficlights, trees and so on. Small details like garbage will be added a bit later.

UPD.

If you mean Steelport map - maybe i do an extended version of it, but i don't want to promise it as 100%. Just see that i have such thoughts and still thinking about updating old modifications. Anyway - i will post any progress in this thread, so you can't miss it. :)

I know about alpha-channel tree bug, but if i improve it, trees start fleeckering and dissapering because of generic limits. So i decide to choose the lesser of two evils.

Hey man, are you going to continue to the GTA III HD Universe Replacement? Maker of GTA IV Renderware Edition says you probably won't, so I wanted to learn.

I think that we can create a team for modding somewhere in future to make something for 3d-era gta's. I think in summer when both of us will have much spare time for smth except study/work another RL-stuff. Just PM me for that stuff in june-july 2021 if you will remember about this post.

I'd like to work on a HD replacement on 3D era, but my modding skills are too limited (just install them and edit basic things such as textures, configurations). So I'm sorry.

Bro did you try skygfx mod? it contains dualpass feature for fixing tree alpha channel problem.

I heard about it but i dont know what lines i should write to it to control settings of skygfx. If you can tell me how can i improve it - it will be great.

just download and install skygfx from here;

 

there is skygfx.ini file and find line

dualPass=0

replace this line with below one 

dualPass=1

At the moment i am making sketches for new buildings. Development just going slower, but don't stop at all (i hope). Only thing i can say to you - there will be some more references to East Coast of USA and to North Cities around Great Lakes. Maybe - some references to Canada.

UPD.

Maybe there will be some references to London. 👑

So... Here it goes! The first model of new district is ingame now. I've got something around a week to model some stuff. After finish polishing i will show you some pics.
