Cargobob or Jetsam Cargobob

Hello,

 

I decided to get a Cargobob but I am not sure if I should get the Jetsam or military version, I tried searching for differences but most threads immediatelly sink into people complaining.

 

Can someone tell me exactly what the differences are? What would you personally recommend and why?

Iirc they are exactly the same except the Jetsam is a bit quieter. Could be wrong though.

The Military one is much louder than the Jetsam one ... If you play with headphones on, it can be annoying.

 

The rest of the differences are just cosmetics. The J have a primary & secondary paint scheme if you store in the Hangar, the M have a single paint & its more of a tint on top of the camouflage.

 

 

I have both, but I prefer the J because its quieter.

I've typically used the Jetsam variant, although I notice little to no difference in volume or sound between the two.

Zero difference in regards to performance from both. Just look differently.

 

Choose your preference. I went for the Jetsam as I preferred the different paint options when in the hanger.

Just get the jetsam if you use headphones, the rotors of the normal 'bob are quite loud

Thanks for the replies, if I wanted to make my Cargobob pure black, would I have to go with the Jetsam or the Military version? 

As I understand it, the Military version has constant camo but the Jetsam has the Jetsam logo that can't be removed, or am I wrong?

Which do I pick?

I think if you colour the military cargobob all black, it pretty much hides the camo. It does on the Savage anyway.

Yeah, the J one will still have the Jetsam company logos and the white Cargobob lettering on it after you paint it. Mine is black, I can post pictures of it later if you like.

 

I believe pure black will hide the camo, but I'm not sure.

Except that Jetsam Cargobob isn't worth it. Since it isn't better than the regular cargobob. Is the same just reskinned and a quieter engine for headphones users which btw still isn't worth a purchase. If it had a longer hook or was able to airlift what the regular cargobob can't then we'd be talking.

And if you decided to buy one anyway then might as well buy the one that doesnt spawn in multiple locations on its own for free.

Most of the stuff in this game is not worth it and is just about personal preference.

Military Cargobob is loud af
(Even if you're not the one flying it. You can hear that sh*t across the map at times. I was at max altitude and crew mates on the ground could hear it.)

While no difference in perf or hook, I got the Jetsam(but have both(from when it was glitched; 180k), prefer Jetsam)), quieter in general, plus two tone.

Yep, Jetsam is  a bit quieter.

The Jetsam one will give you lots of respray choice if you put one in your hangar; painting the stripe white makes the 'Cargobob 893' almost invisible too.

I bought the Jetsam just so I could get the secondary colour. I have a brand image to maintain.
