Lab Rat Posted April 14, 2003 Share Posted April 14, 2003 Well i was cruising round vice earlier, 6 stars came onto me so i started packing heat. i ran up to the skumhole shack (surprisingly good place to hideout) and started assualting down below. there were three tanks, and i could see this rectangly hole with two people inside-- the drivers. i wipped out my sniper, aimed at the drivers and capped them. you can't see their heads but if you shoot at their bodies they'll fall out. then its really easy to nick the tanks (Seriously, just walk and grab it) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Why not have a much smaller slit? 1. you can snipe them if you are standing in front of the tank, i do it all the time with the m4. and 2. yes it is a badly designed tank, just look at the shape and size of the turret, it's too bulky and doesn't have a big enough turret to look like a modern tank, and the reason that it has a huge slit is that if it had a small one, YOU WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO SNIPE THE DRIVERS AND TANKS WOULD BE 10x HARDER TO KILL. In GTA3 tank were virtually invulnerable and could only be killed if you set them on fire or rammed into a wall for half an hour. i think R* just wanted to make 6 stars a little more fun and playable. that is why the FBI has the same gun as the army dudes and the army doesn't have M4's except for the military guys guarding the airbase.
