Just wanted to make a bitch & moan thread about singleplayer rdr 2... you can voice your concerns about the story mode gameplay/story/mechanics/characters/horse balls and anything really. 

 

let me start -

when r* animate shrinking horse balls but can't even get John's epilogue hair color right (the contrast between some details in this game astonishes me)

 

When lot of the singleplayer content is cut just to be reused in RDO later on (example: clothing and weapons)...gotta get them gold bar sales boah!

 

The latest patches really made a big mess over entering buildings/barbers/salloons.

Either you stand for like 2 seconds before you're allowed to enter or it lags af and at night the barber loads but closes magically when you come by.

 

Witness system is a complete mess.

 

Reticule shaking makes my balls hurt

 

New Austin in 1907 is the 1899 version of NA...they just went lazy with the time development there.

 

John's outfits from the chapters not available in epilogue even though they're in the game and are 100% wearable (probably being reused in online for gold later)

 

Too much realism for a game from R*.

 

Gameplay is not fluid, cover system is slow, weapons staying on horse are pain in the ass.

 

Unrepeatable bounties and no jobs probably so that you don't have anything better to do after 100% the game so you go online and buy gold bars.

 

Rockstar satirizing greed and such but are partners with the ultimate greed lord Strauss Zelnick and are heavily promoting micahtransactions (it's r* fault too...not just take2)

 

The game doesn't feel like the spaghetti western like the first one did and that's a shame.

 

The story is beautiful but slow as hell and boring aswell (the assassins creed syndrome) - "follow this guy, get this item, kill some guys, go here, press a button, follow this guy, follow that guy, rinse and repeat

 

Gameplay is worse than that of the first game (imo rdr 1 was way more responsive)

Restrictive gameplay. The best enjoyment in a game is doing something cool one-in-a-million by yourself with the tools the game gives you, that's what gave Rockstar his recognition in the first place with GTA III and so, now it feels like: ride to the mission trigger -> ride to the actual location of the mission -> shoot when we say, and only when we say -> mission failed: some bs statement.

in gta 3 you could complete a mission how ever the f*ck you wanted now you have to complete it how they want
