It's one of those cards that helps you one-shot. Weapons with high damage like Springfield, Bolt-Action, Carcano and Rolling Block on body shot. I've been using it so it got its use.

Thanks to all the comments and explanations, I do understand the cards and try/mix them more. Looks like I'm less a victim now for "crossing wild-riding-shoot-at-sight" peeps.

I've had a change of heart, I've decided Slow and Steady is still my go-to card for Dead-Eye. I'm not sure why but I feel like a complete scumbag using PIB in showdown modes. I've managed to kill people with a Double-Barrel at the range of a rifle, its ridiculously cheap to me, and doesn't require any skill. PIB is very useful for hunting though, I'll give it that.

I don't know if I feel quite that strongly lol, but I'm of a similar mind. I don't like what it does to shotguns - completely changes how they work, makes slugs pointless, as well as revolvers. It also feels a bit cheesy at really long ranges with explosive rounds, or arrows. Like, it kind of makes sniping pointless. I find that's the most powerful thing spammed in free mode, the few times I get into free mode battles.

 

I have mixed feelings on it though, because at the same time it is the original deadeye. All the way back to the very first game. But then it works a bit differently in single player, slowing down time. Not really sure if they could do anything without ruining the card.
