Could be some strength to it I haven't seen. Haven't toyed with the card much.

A Moment To Recuperate III regenerates own HP much faster than Quite an Inspiration III. That's the only selling point. It's better if you want to focus on healing yourself only. But I never had to use it.

Paint It Black III has to be the most useful card in PvP IMO, since it counters both Slow and Steady III and Slippery Bastard III. It's the card that would win most Showdown, Gun Rush and Spoils of War modes + useful in free roam PvP / events. Also the best card to run with for PvE contents for 100% accuracy. You don't need Slow and Steady III or Slippery III for PvE. No need to face tank or disable auto aimbots.

 

A Moment To Recuperate is eliminated.

PIB is still very useful in its own right. I've started using it for hunting birds who are flying. Even if you clip the wings it preserves the carcass. Also, for some reason regular arrows seem to be quite nice on rabbits. I have clips where I shot a 2 star and it showed up as perfect in my satchel.

Have to give Slippery Bastard a -1 because I think it's a bit overrated and definitely not the best Dead Eye Card.

The best in my opinion in Paint It Black, it not only eliminates bullet spread completely, when marking enemies you're guaranteed to hit.

It directly counters Slippery Bastard also, just yesterday I had someone try to kill me with SB but he could not even get close to me because I marked him a few times with a Bolt Action Rifle already and usually the 3rd shot does the job. He had to give up. Can also be combined with Winning Streak so it will make even more damage.

 

But it's also extremely good in PvE and hunting. You see a flock of Spoonbills sitting next to a river and you're afraid not to kill all in time? No problem, mark them all and shot.

Perfect for getting birds down fast, perfect for getting headshots on that precious 3 star whitetail buck.

 

PIB is my favorite and it just has way more uses than SB that are also outside of PvP which is why I personally think PIB needs more love.

Gonna be a tough choice when Quite The Inspiration is gone. Never put a point in Slow & Steady. PIB so useful too.

PIB is probably ok but... and I'm not trying to be smug... I don't think I've ever had my ass kicked by anyone using PIB. If anyone wants, I'd love to be proven wrong in a friendly feud though. But NO explosives. It's obviously great for ex/ex and dynamite arrows, but that's not very viable in the long run for pvp.

 

I'm very curious about why Focus Fire hasn't been touched yet. I was thinking about trying it out.

Focus Fire has that cool gimmick that turns everyone's bullets into Roman candles. Also, everyone in your posse gets a damage boost. Hard to hate on that.
