Reticule shaking makes free aim useless

I agree but thats not what you said. You said BOTW was complex and then in the next post you said it was simple. Anything can be complex if you put your mind to it. All it takes is imagination.

Yeah. To rephrase, BoTW encourages outside-the-box gameplay more than RDR2. RDR2 is more straightforward imo, since it’s primarily a third person shooter. 

 

I wouldn’t call BoTW an RPG tho, just an action-adventure game.

I get that some people like this mechanic, but me and majority of players think that it's unnecesary/annoying. All I need to shut up is a toggle in the menu. But knowing rockstar, they don't do any favors for their players anymore. For those saying that it's a game mechanic and we should obey it that's just a complete bs argument. We should have more freedom experimenting with the game mechanics as players, but sadly R* has went full retard on casuals in the last decade, the ones that haven't even played the first rdr.

exactly...seems pathetic af for me to ridicule someone over wanting more freedom in a game. I get that some people like the shaking and I ain't trying to take their opinions away but that can't be said about them. This ain't "reticule shaking fans vs reticule shaking haters" thread, it's a thread about the problem of the shaking for the free aim players. Let's be honest..it's completely useless to have free aim in the game if we don't get a simple toggle for the shaking. This shaking was designed for auto aim casuals, for free aim we want precision in action, we don't want to stay in cover all the time to stop the shaking etc. We want a gameplay of a western badass gunslinger. It's a game, we have enough realism irl lol.

To everyone else, wish in one hand and sh*t in the other...which one fills faster? Instead of crying like entitled children how about you listen to the people that are explaining whats happening, why its happening and are trying to help you. No-one is disagreeing with you nor are they denying you your "woe is me" platform. Instead of moaning about it, sit the f*ck down, shut up and get on.

 

A person cannot have their arm back after its been surgically amputated no matter how much they wish and cry about it, what they can do is listen and learn about how to cope.

I am not being defensive. I dont like the game and its mechanics, there are many issues about the game that annoy me and I agree with the vast majority of what is said on here. Instead of wallowing in your own self pity (Not you, this topic) and dismissing opposing opinions/suggestions how about you simply say "Thank you for the input" even if you are not gong to take it to heart.

I'm calling them casuals because that's exactly what they are (no offense) Zelnick even said they are making their games to suit for casual gamers mainly and that's what bugs me: when someone offensively defends some stupid game mechanic without even addressing the issue at all. We are meant to argue over if free aim would be better without the shaking, which it certainly would.

When someone comments on this thread about how we are just lazy and stuff like that but most likely plays the game on auto aim really pisses me off. Come up with a better argument. I myself don't see any problem with people liking this mechanic if they come up with a valid argument, like the guy that addressed that we need to stay in cover to calm down etc. and posted a video. I value that kinda information a lot. But then there are people like you bringing no useful information whatsoever, just ridiculing people for having an opinion different of yours. If you don't have nothing good to say don't say anything at all.

@RyuNova Anyway let's press X to defuse and start focusing on some bigger problems, no need to defend yourself now, I'm gonna shut up aswell...my thinking is we could try to make a petition about the reticule shaking and contact R* on their online support page since they care only for online now. Free aim lobbies could bring the reticule shaking toggle with them
