Simple theme. So, i can't make my new mission for this one cuz i'm very busy with my school. I need more time to create a mission for this current MOTW now.

Sure, you just have to show that they were enemies before or at the start of the mission.

Can I do an enemy allied with the protagonist to fight other enemy? Just a question.

I'll see if I can participate. There's no guarantee, though.

I'm not writing lengthy reviews like I usually do for this MOTW, but the main thing I'll have to say is that I loved @omigawail's Vendetta and @ZekoX's Siege of Tobruk equally, so I cannot make a decision. While Siege of Tobruk had some extremely fun and addictive gameplay, Vendetta had a masterful storyline and brilliant use of cutscenes, with competent gameplay, and I absolutely loved the GTA IV-style ending which lets you choose whether to kill or spare your ally (who was originally your enemy).

Due to this, I'm not going to vote, since I liked both missions equally. Good luck to all three participants.

Decided to jump back into this thing, since I do miss my good old MOTW contests. I might participate in the next one, but I did write reviews for the three participants that decided to partake.

"Siege of Tobruk" by ZekoX

There's not a lot that can be said about this mission, however the point stands - it's very rushed, unfinished and quite effortless. I'm saying this because I know Zeko can do better, but truthfully - he hasn't outdone himself in this one. Characters are not very well written, whereas this should have been the key aspect for a mission asking you to go side by side with your enemy. The part where you are simply giving your enemy weapons to fight with you to defeat another force is executed way too poorly, to be frank. The attacking enemy at the end was not overpowered and that "totally" doesn't leave much room for our new friends to not think that they should just use the opportunity to shoot the player and his allies in the back after the new enemy has been defeated. To be honest, I was hoping that such a scene would take place in the end, which would have left me with no complaints about the plot. However, it is what it is. Aside from everything, a few more points - overpowered enemies with lots of health, whereas the player is left with a basic bolt action rifle at his disposal - forced realism whereas it shouldn't have been to compensate for the quality of gameplay. You either should have lowered the enemy health or gave the player better weapons. Also, undisabled wanted level - a small little setting which most of us miss out on, yes, but it still destroys the mission's setting. Finally, the grammar. For a mission that doesn't involve a lot of dialogue, there weren't a lot of mistakes, but sometimes that English is just not fluent enough. I did enjoy that Australlian addressing between characters, but it's all there is to it. The designer could have done better.

Final Rating: 5.5/10

"Just Today" by FatGat

Such a simple mission. That's the first idea that came into my mind when I finished it. It's quite short, too, but it does a meh-to-okay job showcasing the idea of striking a deal with your enemy to defeat another. The characters and the setting were taken from the original storyline of the game, which at the beginning left me wondering - will there be anything new and unseen? Short answer is - no, there wasn't. Characters were pretty basic, and their ideas and interests were a mere reflection of what they were in the original storyline, whereas even that part wasn't executed properly. Our protagonists are very easily convinced to trust the enemy gang member telling them to do something that puts their lives at risk. I mean, I get it - it's GTA afterall, but the point is - even the characters in the original storyline inherited more sense in the matter than what is showcased in this mission. I'm talking about missions like Reuniting The Families, which still carried the idea of being cautious of your proposed new allies no matter what. Anyway, the mission doesn't emphasize itself in lenght, neither it does in it's plot or setting. It really comes down to the basic "drive there, shoot that, mission passed" style, but that part was done good. "Just Today" could have been better.

Final Rating: 5.0/10

"Vendetta" by omigawail

Frankly, this was better than I expected it to be. The plot, it's setting and the characters were pretty well done, compared to most of the missions out there portraying them as, honestly, soulless shells. The protagonist had a defined goal at the beginning, but it's not clear - you have to assassinate somebody that you've been hunting for half a dozen years. Reasons are not showcased, but I played along anyway. After finally breaking into the building and fighting through some enemies, the target is confronted. Again, it's not known what are the protagonist's reasons for killing him, but knowing them would have made a clear standpoint in the final moment where a decision has to be made. And in that moment, cops storm the place and the protagonist decides to take his chances with his target to escape the building, right before he could have killed him. Trusting somebody you've been hunting for years left a question mark for me, but the protagonist and his target didn't have their backstory explained yet, so it's fine. After finally escaping the building, the player aims his weapon at the target, ordering him to come with him. The target's guards point their weapons at the player, but the target tells them to stand down. This is the part which hardly made sense. The target already knew that the protagonist's only intention was to kill him, but he still lets him get taken. You know, for a mafia boss that has decided to resort to something like stealing, killing, lying, cheating and etc. just to get ahead in the "game", it truly was a major plot hole. So unless the mafia boss randomly lost his will to live, there's hardly any explanation for his decision to let himself get killed. Writing these isn't easy, I know, but if I'm being an honest critic - I have to point this out. Aside from the story, the shootouts were great. Enemies weren't too much of a challenge, but I liked what the designer did with object and effect placement. No major complaints about the grammar or any other issues regarding presentation. Oh, and the cutscenes were done well. It truly was a great mission with an okay-to-good story.

Final Rating: 7.5/10

My vote goes to omigawail's mission. Good luck to the others.
