Icarus Posted April 13, 2003 Share Posted April 13, 2003 For me, the hardest VC mission has to be "The Driver" where you have to race the big fat guy Hilary! It's hard because he has a Sabre Turbo and you have a Sentinel and furthermore, you have two stars while trying to race him! If this guy is such a brilliant driver, then how come you have to be better than him to get him to help you?!?!?! Also, he doesn't even drive you to the bank, and gets killed anyway!!!! So much effort, practice and much grief only to drive to and from the bank MYSELF! I got it on my eleventh attempt(give or take 2 or 3 attempts), just getting that one good hit on him at the start and he'll spin right out of control and be a huge distance behind you all the way. Though I didn't use this for The Driver (I only actually noticed recently that it can be LOL, so much to learn! Shaft Posted April 13, 2003 Share Posted April 13, 2003 Well, the 'Driver' mission was all that hard- you just need to look out for cops that's all. IMHO, the 'Keeps Your Friends Closer...' mission was the hardest. I fought Lance and all the Mafia guys on the roof with close to 12 health until I could get soem armor and health from the bottom of the mansion. It took me at least 10 tries to get it just right. I wish the missions would have been more complicating though, because most of them were way too easy. I have to do paramedic missions to be challenged now-a-days. Keep your friends close Without cheating 9/10 times, sonny creams me those were the only problems for me besides the firetruck side mission, i always keep running out of time on the 10th level. i've only done up to lvl12 without cheating 1 time. I don't know why people seem to have trouble wit the ambulance missions, i thought they were long but on the whole easy and enjoyable in a way. i somtimes even play paramedic missions just for fun, it's cool to be good. The driver for me was easy, but that is only because i parked a hotring racer next to the police station and started the race, drove to the station and swapped cars. in the sentinel i found it really hard to keep up with the speed of hilary's sabre turbo. Dildo dodo was easy for me, i learned how to fly the dodo in GTA3 fairly well so i found flying the skimmer a peice of cake as it is so much lighter and actually HAS wings. This may come as a shock to a few people, but i did the job on my first try. I kept on waiting for the point when it would get hard, but that point never and i drove to the finishing circle trying to think of why people thought it was so hard. Just as soon as you get control take out the SPAS shotgun and shoot his boys and then him. By then you should have the fast reload, so it's easy. He dies in like 2 seconds.
