Daleificent
So, I've never noticed this before and that's probably because I just made a dishonorable toon... but why am I receiving honor for feeding my horse? I'm pretty sure if I'm traveling state to state on horseback through untamed wilderness, it pays to take care of the thing carrying all your sh*t and keeping you from being stranded. Not a big deal, but snapped me a little out of being a "skitzo outlaw" when my honor level increased and bothered me enough to come on here. coach_wargo

Ghoffman9
I imagine they did that so players with honorable characters would have a way to actually obtain honor outside of doing specific stranger missions or the honorable outcome in story missions. Losing honor is easy, getting it though is a bit more of a hassle otherwise. AmyStone and areyouchappin
Boozey St John
My Picky is treated like a princess. I actually bought the horse meal pamphlet to make the special food for her. She's gets treats and pats all the time. She gets brushed everytime I hitch her too. She doesn't deserve it but I've come to accept my horse is retarded. She's doing the best she can... When she's not being so goddamn picky! Edit: She threw me off a cliff... Edited March 22, 2019 by Boozey St John Oh Lord, you test me. I will be patient, Lord. areyouchappin
I probably treat my horse better than I treat my player character.. but that honestly might be because the player weight system has been bugged for quite some time now.

TheLordMarvel
Same way as you lose honor for killing them. It would be animal cruelty if you don't. So for gaining honor, I believe it's because you're tending to and caring for an innocent animal. Like... Imagine in real life, If you stop to pet a dog or a cat; you may earn a smile from someone looking over, or maybe even the animal itself will like you more; thus you have earned some honor. Foxwolfe
I won't lie, I've punched my horse a few times (just the arabian, not the MFT), that damn arabian scardy cat temperment gets on my nerves now and then. In the horses defense shes kicked me back afterward when she can (though I do my best to avoid it!).
ThaBirdCoot
My horse's been eating more than my fat dude of late, that's for sure. Not sure how honorable that is, given that I don't really have a choice. So all the sugar cubes, carrots, beets and hay go to him, why does my char have to have such f*cked up metabolism ? I just want to eat and live like I used to. hugh750 and Failed Again

Foxwolfe
Yeah in story mode I never really had any issues with any of my white or black arabians, once I got to online they started to bother me at times. I dunno if it's different with the online version or if I just am more aware of it now, maybe I just never really took notice of how often I calmed them in story mode? Who knows lol. The MFT feels super chill in comparison, looking forward to them adding more variations of the breeds.
Dr.Rosenthal
I met a friend from GTAO for the 1st time on RDO the other day. I waved hello to him and then went up to his horse to pat it. I love my Amber Champagne Fox Trotter. He looks a bit derpy, but he’s a great companion and I feed him and pat him every chance I get. People who purposefully target your horse are the worst scum of this game. ALifeOfMisery, Bakkerbaard, Failed Again and 3 others
