To shoot another player you first have to challenge them to a feud or posse feud. They could either be timed, first to a score or until someone concedes defeat. Then just go about your business again. I don’t have a problem having fights in free roam. It is annoying though when you walk out a store or something and somoene camped on a roof shoots you for no reason. That’s the kinda thing I class as griefing. I like the ”danger and uncertainty” of what we’ve got - and I know it might be an impopular opinion but I prefer it over lobby options. Invite/friendly lobbies are too comfortable for me. And if we had those, all the ”good guys” would go there and the Hardcore lobbies would be filled with just all the d-bags, riding around shooting each other in the back all the time. And I don’t want that either. But in any case, there’ll be no shortage of PvP, I’m sure. If you're a soft cock who needs the first unsuspecting kill shot, you're a griefer and a scrub. Defensive mode will afford people the chance to disengage from what they were doing and square up against an aggressor on more equal footing. If that's not good enough, well you can take yourself into PvP mode against others prepared for combat. I'm highly satisfied with the proposed modes coming up. I don't know if there are any female only items left, but to the best of my knowledge we've got 3 coats, 2 hats, 1 pair of trousers, 1 pair of gloves and 1 pair of boots left to go and 3 dripfeed weeks left, including today. That isn't a lot of content (I'm using that term as loosely as I can allow myself) to be spread across 3 Tuesdays alongside the remaining game modes.
